Hi,

If someone is flying DPS in a fleet then it makes sense not to have the shield/cap/armor broadcasts on the broadcast log because it fucks up targeting sequence. Therefore, when he/she broadcasts for shield/cap/armor himself, you don't see it. This might lead to button spamming in laggy or chaotic situations (did the server get my broadcast? Are my buddies seeing it?) and therefore disrupted logistics operations.

Now, part of the solution is to HTFU, don't panic and broadcast once, have faith that help will come. However, when the button to broadcast (which is too darn small anyway) is pressed, a nice visual feedback, like a green glow on the button or a green flashing effect on the cap/armor/shield readout, might go a long way to mitigate broadcast spam. This also reduces server load I suppose, be it a tiny bit.

Reflect!

Regards,

Highfield

Edit: I mentioned this before in some CCP little things threadnaught which probably isn't read anymore. That why I post this here, as it's a tiny thing to program I suppose and creates a better UI experience.

A small but useful UI improvement (perhaps a 10- second cooldown on the light would be appreciated by the logi bros)

Add it to Soundwave's "Little Things" thread please.

+1 to this. I often find myself freaking out about if I broadcasted (and if I broadcast for the right thing).
