Hrm. Something must have been fixed for me, because i'm about 30-for-30 starting up with sound, whether using the launcher or the executable. Sorry to those still with no sound, it's incredibly frustrating (I know)

still no answer on my petition from CCP, however since last patch, i don't need to clear cache anymore to have sound, and so far, it seems to be working back again
