Let a mission expire - question

Hey,
I've noticed that letting a mission expire is more efficient than declining the mission or even abandon it.
If i let it expire the standing loss is quite neglectable ( if a standing loss occurs at all ), while if i decline the missions two times in a row or take the mission then abandon it, the standing loss is quite big.

Is my observation correct ? How exactly does the system work when you let a mission expire ?

If you abandon your mission, you will lose standing with an agent. In case you can't finish the mission, it would be better off and try some local mission runner to help you out.

If you decline a mission after a mission within four hours period, you will lose standing with an agent.

If you decline a mission outside of four hours period from previous declined mission, you will not lose standing with an agent.

If your mission expires, you will not lose standing.

Take care. If you've accepted mission and it's active, you will lose standing since it's abandonment!
