If it's real I'm going to stomp some human heads as an Ork once it arrives.

Quote:
Experience the gameworld with 3rd-person, behind the shoulder action featuring precision gunplay and brutal melee combat with excruciating finishers;
• Participate in a persistent online war to conquer the planet, its fate completely in the hands of the players;
• Become a warrior from one of four initial factions, each unique and opposed to one another: Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Orks and Eldar.
• Participate in truly massive conflicts that simultaneously bring thousands of players to bear over territories and other strategic resources.
• Get behind the controls of Space Marine Rhinos, Predators, Ork Battlewagons and other iconic vehicles of the 41st millennium;
• Hack through genuinely challenging procedural content alongside your battle-brothers and never have the same experience twice;
• Earn the right to customize your builds in a deep progression system drawing on the rich Warhammer 40,000 universe.
• Found a Battle Squad with friends and prepare for conflict from your customized shared space in orbit – then drop down to the planet together and seek out glory!

Found this featurelist on another forum. Maybe a Planetside 2 with a 40k-skin?

Considering the products of the developers, I dare not to get hyped.. Looks really bad tbh. Sad

Oomans are pink and soft, not tough and green like da Boyz. They'z all the same size too, so they'z always arguing about who's in charge, 'cos no way of telling 'cept fer badges an' ooniforms and fings. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. Wot a lot of mukkin' about if yer asks me. An' while they'z all arguing wiv each other over who's da boss, da Orks can clobber da lot. Orkz is made fer' two fings! Fightin', and winnin'! Twisted

An interview with mmorpg.com
I like the F2P idea where F2Pers will be limited to Ork Boyz, and that there needs to be 5 of them to take down one Marine. Smile

false. They will be the fifth race (but NPC-controlled) that balances out the game. The fifth wheel, if you will.

I surely hope then that their zerg-likeness will be able to crubstomp all but the most hardy veterans, be they chaos or imperial.

also, needs imperial guard.

Lol. Tyranids aren't invincible you know. It's already been said that if all Orks gather under one WAAAAAGH they would defeat everything. Those fellas would just curbstomp everything under their boots like it's American History X gone Sci-Fi.

I choose Chaos ... I like ... but then again, don´t want to get my hopes up.

Also the game list of the people on it is a bit ... uh ... "special"

"They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give of themselves to me. Like clay I shall mould them and in the furnace of war forge them. They shall be of iron will and steel sinew. In great armour I shall clad them and with the mightiest weapons they will be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight them. They shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe can best them in battle. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines and they shall know no fear."

I agree that if the Tyranids were not present then the Orks would rule them all if they banded into one Waaagh. The problem with the Tyranids is that they are approaching from 3 separate planes of the galaxy. There are theories throughout the Imperium that they Tyranids have possibly taken over all the galaxies in our local cluster and are being drawn to ours by the Astronomicon. If this is true then there are literally a few dozen galaxies that are completely Tyranid controlled.

Lastly don't forget about the Necrons. I think they might possibly be the most destructive force because they don't die, just phase out and then reborn.

I'm thinking Behaviour Interactive was chosen because of its experience with consoles? If this is a console MMO, then, well, no.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.
