/drama off.

50k SP may be a wonderful thing for some people, but most of my characters have more that 30 million SPs.

50k SPs is an insult to me. Keep them.

Some of mine have 70-100M but I'll take the 50k. Can I have hers? She finds it insulting but I don't.

I would, however, prefer we could pick what character on the account to give it to rather than the one that already has the most.

Maybe create a redeemable item out of it, and people like this gift-horse-examiner could sell them on the market?

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Who ever is doing this should be found, covered in Cheetos dust and dropped in E3
That will be punishment

Thanks CCP for being so responsive, any chance of figuring out why from the logs?

UPDATE - 03:40 UTC - Tranquility is now open and accepting connections.

I am STILL unable to log in after trying Eve.exe file.

Using the launcher I still recieve the message:-

"Remote info-file could not be fetched.
http://client.eveonline,com/patches/premium_patchinfoTQ_inc.txt
Please check your internet-connection.
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Suppourt by fililng a petition."

Pettition sent, so just a week to wai for a response to that then I guess.

In all seriousness this is becoming very unsatisfactory and all to regular.

Come on CCP less shiny and more function please.

I have been getting socket closed and booted from game every 30-60 mins for the last day, day and a half. Pretty much kills any chance of playing.

I'm not sure if anyone has cited this yet but...

In the End User License Agreement (EULA) that we all agreed to when we signed up to pay and play EVE states the following under the header "No Warranties"

"The Software, System, Game and all Game Content, and all other services and material provided in connection therewith, are provided "AS IS," with all faults, and without warranty of any kind. You assume all risk of use and all risk associated with accessing the System and playing the Game.

CCP disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose and non-infringement. There is no warranty against interference with your enjoyment of the Game. CCP does not warrant that the operation of the System or your access to the System, or that your use of the Software, will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that the System or Software will be compatible with your hardware and software.

While CCP attempts to have the System available at most times, CCP does not guarantee that the System will always be available, or that the System will not become unavailable during Game play. The System may become unavailable for a number of reasons, including without limitation during the performance of maintenance to the System, for the implementation of new software, for emergency situations and due to equipment or telecommunications failures."

In other words we all agreed that this type of situation is expected and we were okay with it. If you don't agree with the EULA then maybe you shouldn't play.

Falcon, From about 9:14 central time till about 6am this morning I have been unable to connect due to a route change. Traces indicate that Verisign started advertising the Eve subnets.

Usually Eve's subnet is 87.237.38.0/23 and my ISP sees this subnet from its transit providers (level 3, NTT, Above.net, and TiNET). However, last night starting at 9:15 central time, my ISP was seeing the /23 as two /24's coming from Verisign through an Equinix public peering fabric which essentially blackholed the traffic. My ISP's connectivity to Eve did not restore until Verisign stopped advertising the two /24's.

I have included the PingPlotter traces. The first one is showing the route right before the outage and the second one is showing the route during the outage.

I believe a call to verisign is in order to ensure they don't advertise Eve subnets anymore. This also happened on 06/02 as you can see below.

It's funny how this downtime saved a whack of CFC dreads.

And the last downtime helped CFC SBU NOL-M9.

What are the odds the next downtime happens at a moment convenient to the CFC?

If CCP was willing to take the entire server down to save Goon caps they would have taken it down at Asakai.

This is becoming all too regulaar.

Dislike the new launcher too *just putting it out there* if it Ain't broke, Don't fix it.
Yes we love change ccp, but thats ingame, yes the new launcher looks good, but its crap.

You put ship hangar back in because we asked you too, could you give us the option to use this new launcher? *simple disable launcher* not just the "close launcher on launch"

Anyway my 2c's.
