Ditto on the socket closed errors after server reboot. Have not successfully connected now that the server reboot is accepting non-VIP connections.

I am back in Amarr with my 8 day que turned to 9 days 22 hours :3
get kicked as soon as i hover the mouse over the training que bar.


Now....
I am upset,
But only because...if im gonna blow up...at least let me see it /;

I am scared to log in a 4th time because all my hangar ships might explode!

I think you need to compare your experience in this short 20 days to the overall picture and what happens elsewhere with other online games/mmo's.

In the close to 3 years I've been playing EVE the amount of "frustrating" downtime like this has been extremely minimal. Stuff happens and it's just unfortunate you've had an unfair experience of it in the last 20 days. There have probably been more issues on my ISP's end for total "down" time preventing me access.

I've been in other games where stuff happens, too. And more often than not it's been "worse" and there has been no form of compensation, such as we've had with skillpoints here.

Any game's terms of service include a form of caveat emptor (buyer beware) which discludes any form of liability on the game company's part for this sort of thing.

CCP has had it's moments of non-brilliance (boot.ini anyone?) but it gets taken care of and they don't have to compensate us.

Just shake this off as a weird time as it's not typical. What is typical is bumps and hiccups with expansions. You'll get used to it Blink


I'm sorry, but I have to call BS on part of that. I too have been in several other online games. Do you know what happens when they have unexpected problems like this that prevent players from getting in the game? They add paid game time to the players' accounts. Why? Because they like to keep their customers happy, of course! Reimbursing time like this, whether the problem is the fault of the game company or not, is simply a customer service no-brainer.

Don't get me wrong; I think the devs at CCP have been doing a superb job repairing all the recent problems. But I also think that the beancounters are getting off easy by handing out skill points, which truly cost them nothing. Any other game would be reimbursing lost game time for these sort of troubles.

When I called him a weakling I was simply speaking the truth. I read his post and thought that he was a weak person, a self-centered weak person. If you believe speaking the truth is insulting then you don't belong in New Eden. And then again, this is my opinion. Its an exchange of opinions you see? Speaking harshly does not make it wrong, it makes it honest.

You know, if you cannot take harsh words, you do not belong in a world of politics, and that is clearly what New Eden is.

Also, if no one noticed, the WoW part was a trolling, I removed it immediately to see how many would notice.
I have no reason to insult WoW players, but it is a world of less courage and mental challenge due to its fully static structure and lack of player power.

If you mistake my words for simple, misguided insults, then yes my friend, New Eden is not for you.

All that moves is easilly heard in the void.

it saddens me i only found out about my death by the character selection menu showing me what ship i was in after each log in...../;
and seeing my training que go from 8 1/2 days to almost 10 days D:
In said menu!

Please fix the bugs and take your time.
Im not made of isk darn it >.<

rather wait a long time for a fixed game than quick fix.

It is working people are logged in. We even have a fleet up and over 377 in CAS chat so others are getting in as well.
