We were on and off Eve
Cause CCP didn't make content no more (nah)
They were all up in Iceland chillin'
With Jita burnin, anger churnin, subscribers dippin'
All cause their avatar couldn't pew while strippin'

The players raged moar and went spammin' the forums
Demanding answers from the devs that gave 'em this horse dung
They didn't ask for much, they just wanted a lobby
Somewhere corpmates could just chill n talk about hobbies (damn!)

But then a letter ended leaked to the playerbase
That ended showin' errybody CCP's true face
It painted all the players as big money pinatas
To fund other CCP projects, trips, and pina coladas ((yes we remember))

It told the devs about how greed was a good thing
and why the players in the game would prob'bly do nothing
'Watch what they do, not what they say,' it said.
'Cause we've never see action from the whining that we've all read.'

So Hilmar just laughed and kept poppin' his bottles
While schemin' how to throw his greedy plans to full throttle.
Oh you want more stuff like back in Revelations? (yes)
How 'bout some more shorts in character creation!

The game we loved was now aimed towards what Hil said,
With Aurum and space barbies that look liked they need fed.
I think it's time to quit now before i swallow lead
