Character names and Internet issues - Can't find my new character

So when I started playing EVE almost a week ago, I made a character, but at the same night, my internet connection died, when I finally fixed and logged in the next day, my character, named Sebastianus Sabezan, weren't there to choose, instead I were put directly into the character creation mode, I then made a new character, named Rafiki Raholan, which I choose every time I log in, but when I want to create an API key from the website, I can only choose my first character, Sebastianus, which is no where to be found in game, I just wonder if it can be fixed? I would like to remove the trace of the first one and keep my second made character.
