Scanner Overlay busted?

No static, no anoms, nothing.

I was on before DT today and there was 9 combat anoms 1 outgoing WH, 3 ladar and 2 Ore.

Double checked filters, and still nothing.

What gives?

Ok I've dropped probes and there's sigs in system but nothing on the overlay scanner.

Did something break?

When I do that the scanner cycles (I've already probed the entire system) but nothing shows 'in space'

I just rebooted and the sigs I scanned earlier are gone, as expected, but the scanner overlay shows nothing at all.

I just jumped out through the static and it worked fine in that system, when I jumped back nothing shows in my home WH....

Had it before (probably not an odessey specific bug) where sigs behave odd in one system i.e. strengths act as tho my scanning skills aren't being applied - tho usually relogging or jumping out and back in again fixes it. Not the first time recently tho someones described bugs that seem to be system specific and that are usually solved by relogging or changing systems but its not fixing it for them - most odd.

this happening when you warp and land with an uncloaked ship in the frontier baraks anomaly ( its a class four anomaly c4)
was it a c4 system you had this problem?

Barracks have always been bugged. Same bug seems to be affecting the entire overlay scanner.

I have had this bug and ONLY experienced in C4s thus far.

c4 frontier baraks were never bugged.After odysee when you land an uncloaked ship inside a barak it causes all the anomalies (combat and gravimetrics) of the wormhole system to disapear.You can find sigs ( wh,radar,magnetos,ladar) using ONLY your probes.

try clearing your cache. I had this issue when I changes my ship using an SMA and everything on the overlay vanished. clearing the cache fixed it but the same thing happened again when I changed ships again.

Umm yea they were. If you ever paid attention, before odyssey a barracks' sig would despawn upon landing on grid in an uncloaked ship. They have been like this ever since I have run C4 sites. before odyssey this would just affect barracks sites (nice side effect being that once on grid you would have to be combat probed down).

After odyssey this bug seems to have the effect of wiping out all the sigs from the overlay.

Yes that is true but i dont think it was a bug.I mean ok having a sleeper that is designed to neut you but he doesnt its a bug.Having a sleeper that is designed to pewpew your ship but he cant because you are off his grid is a bug.But having an anomaly despawn i dont think its a bug.
I always thought that the heavy neuting anomaly in the c4 with the 3 neut BS(except the radar-magneto 4 safegueard) despawned faster than the none neuting anomaly (comand post).The rest 2 anomalies are not worh your time cause of the frigates.I dont know if it was diferent before but i thought having the frontier barak despawn was normal

Edit: now that you mention it the santum is a BS anomaly that doesnt despawn fast like the barak but i always avoided it because of the safeguard inside that scares the *blip* out of me so there is a point in what you say :)

Well given that every other cosmic anomaly in new eden persists until the site is "complete" I'd call it a bug. It is also interesting to note that this effect only lasts until downtime, at which point everything shows up again normally.

Ran into this problem a few days ago for the first time and it seems like some other are affected as well:

But it happened when I warped out of the system, not while doing a barracks-site (even though they were the sites I was grinding)

Yep, the issue doesnt show up while you are in system. Only if you leave/ come back, log off, or come into a system after the situation occured.

So lets recap this:
In wormhole space there are green Anomalies (combat and ore) and Signatures (radar, ladar, megnetometric, wormholes).
When PlayerA ,a regular everyday normal guy, enters a C4 system and lands in the Frontier Baraks anomaly with his uncloaked ship he breaks eve in this system.
Player B who enters the system after Player A turned supersayan and broke eve ,cant see any anomalies at all and cant see any signatures at all unless he deploys probes and then he can see only Signatures.All the Anomalies are hidden until downtime.
If PlayerA logs out or jumps to onother system, when he revisits the system he has the same problem as PlayerB.
