I was trying - real hard - to read posts made in chat. I would scroll up to the text I wanted to read, but the chat window would continuously scroll down. I did everything I could think of to get the chat to stay where I wanted it, so that I could read it. It really is a battle, and a very frustrating one at that. It's very hard to read a chat window that will not stay put when you need it to.

This is inexcusable. Even burned out games like WoW and Bug infested games like SWTOR have chat windows that behave the way one wants them to. I'm new to this game, and I like what I've experienced so far, but THE MOST FRUSTRATING THING FOR ME RIGHT NOW is a chat window that I can't control so that I can read the posts.

How about fixing that problem?

For now, I have given up using it. The chat channel is unusable as it is.

block spammers or stop reading Jita local (for your own safety) or newbie help channel that is available during 1st month of play. All other chat rooms are readable once you get used to them.
