Well hopefully he learned not to take out a pimped out ship to go missioning when at war. I always thought that was common sense not to do that, guess not.

Takes people a few years to wrap their head around the basic idea that actually moving in space mitigates some incoming damage; and a few more to actually learn how to maximize your movement.
