Deploying probes

Has anybody noticed when you deploy probes they appear in any random place in the system in map view?

I'm not too sure they will appear on dscan in the random place until you press analyze, but nether the less its a little weird not seeing your probes in the you are here bubble but off into the distance somewhere.

Was this after 1.0.3 or was this happening before today's patch?
