Eurogamer: The Council of Stellar Management [CSM] has been increasingly vocal and rebellious in recent months. What's your relationship with them like at the moment - your personal feelings and those of the company as a whole?

Quote:
Hilmar Pétursson: The CSM has been under constant evolution based on what's going on in the current environment, what's going on with CCP and Eve, who's on the Council and all that. The CSM has helped greatly through the years in getting feedback for aspects of the game.

But some of my concerns right now relate to whether the CSM is maybe focused on a particular aspect of the game and I'm starting to get feedback from players that they worry the CSM is too pre-occupied by a certain playstyle. That might mean we may need to change the structure, but definitely the CSM has worked as a feedback tool greatly throughout the years. We will have them over at the end of the year, after everything that's gone on, and we will have a chance to talk about that. We'll just see where we are and take it from there.

So yea what u going to do now that there starting to think your going on to much about your section of the game?

I mean clearly your not speaking for the hole of EvE any more, just for the null group, or his comment would be out of place.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Personally I don't mind that null sec is getting looked at. But their whole approach of bashing all other types of gameplay other than the ones that they want, is just bullshit.

Sounds like a certain CEO got outplayed by a bunch of 0.0 guys and now wants them nerfed.

CCP Hilmar is a carebear, C/D?

I've always thought CSM should have been a bit more diverse myself. They really should try to break it down into sections. Vote for Nullsec reps, low sec reps, high sec reps, and w-space reps. Would make sure no part of the game wasn't looked at.

that's how it should work

Yeah an its funny when the CSM from one corp start trying to backstab ones from others and trying to get them removed... winder if more Goons will be voted in? Theyre only backed my the first second and third largest corps in the game...

0.0 is like the advertising division, Empire is where CCP's real money is made.

Unless you think there are less people in empire than 0.0 and with all the qq about how empty 0.0 is that would make me a bit worried about how many people actually are playing this game......

don't worry we wont take all your spots away we leave you 2, but WHs space Faction war and high sec all gets spots to, you can fight over the rest

Oooor, people could just vote in EVE Players...ya know the ones that take in the 'whole' of EVE.

Also, pretty sure a High-sec rep would want to "ban" non-consensual PVP, which....would ruin EVE; that's not what this game is about.

WHILE, a Null-sec rep would probably want to remove CONCORD and force the player base to "police" High-sec

Now, if said "EVE"-CSMs wanted to bring in advisers from each of those 'Divisions' that's perfectly okay.

Funny thing about that... When you have the three Biggest corps that are forced to vote for you, you tend to get elected / reelected.

Itd be damn funny Mittens, if you got a Goon to go for each CSM position. Then you get all of DCF to vote for them. Imaging the tears when ALL of the CSM are Goons rofl

I am the sole representative of the Eve-hole.
