I understand that, i really do. But this is the how-many-eth (Yes, that's a word) thread about the same thing? So many threads about it. If OP put in as much time checking the forums and maybe continuing a previous thread rather than making a new one.....

And yes Ramona, i sneeked a peek at your diary. Damn girl, you freaky!

Understood. I guess not everyone checks forums, etc. I can sincerely understand people being distressed about having to make a change. IRL i'm a highly sucessful project manager and part of what makes me what I am is that unexpected change irriates me and makes me focus my attention on it.

So I'll be the last one to slag off someone for finding it difficult to adjust. YMMV

Before the patch, I was mining ice, now I'm focusing on mining the usual ore(plagioclase, veldspar etc.) because I dont have time to hunt spwaning ice.

The annoying part is I cant find anymore, also, the usual asteroids belt, all are depleted at the time I enter the game to play.
So, the mining is ruined for casual players and the newbies players(that are at the begining with the eve)...
I tried trading in Dodixie, it didn't work out... so move to Amarr... things are better. I tried PI in Highsec, but I didn't get the result I wanted, so I moved it to lowsec...it worked well. For a time. Now the system is getting filled with too many pirates, so I might have to sell most everything and move... find someplace else. Adapt.

You should adapt.

One of the things that I really like about Eve is that it's up to me to figure out how to survive in the game. I don't have an automatic right to be able to decide on my career and how I want to pursue that career and then wait for the ISK to start flowing. The game doesn't adapt to me, I have to adapt to it, instead. Nobody owes me a living. While this might mean that it's tougher to be successful, the successes are more meaningful because of it.

Love the squealing from the 20 barge alt corp owners.

I used to mine ice if I had a couple of hours play time, was in high-sec and couldn't be bothered to do anything else (in need of a semi-afk activity). To paraphrase a famous physicist, it's "not even boring".

I can see how it would hurt though, having 20 accounts that need plex and having to mine ice to buy the plex to keep the accounts going that you need to mine the ice to keep the accounts going.

Crazy.

Sorry, but no. Stop trying to mine right next to trade hubs, there are entire regions where belts are completely untouched and asteroids are up to huge sizes. (most of the Khanid region, for example)

In no way is this true. Learning to play the game and all the mechanics (read isk the guide) and you will VERY quickly see that mining is one of the worst isk/hr in the game.

Tell that to my 3-4 Bill ISK/Month Wallet.
