Criteria for receiving a Cerebral Accelerator booster

I logged into my trial account on eveonline.com, I then added time to my account by purchasing 30 days using paypal. As part of that deal I received an in-game item called a Cerebral Accelerator. I am being told by others that they did not receive this item when they activated their account.

Can someone please clarify what criteria must be met to receive this item so I'm not called a liar?

The page i see on account management says

so it seems that only accounts that were created after the offer started would get the accelerator is what i figure....

Tried it using Plex to upgrade a buddy invite trial and didn't get an accelerator.

I have made a new account (trial) and upgraded to full account, 30 min ago, I did not receive a cerebral accelerator, reedem is empty.

So... what's up with that ?

any chance ye could sell regular players one for a plex or 3500 aurum? but if u get podded u lose it

I put in a petition and have had the same problem. Created a buddy account, upgraded to retail and recieved no accelerator. There is nothing to redeem on the login screen or in game.

For some technical reasons the Cerebral Accelerators were not given to those players who activated their subscriptions with PLEX or Steam CD keys. We are working on fixing this problem; in the meantime, if you haven't got your implant in the redeeming system after converting an account to paid, please file a petition and our GMs will provide one for you.

this may be a bit off topic, but the ad on the login screen mentioned that, in addition to a +3 to all attributes 'plant, it now increases damage and rate of fire. can someone confirm/deny this?

Yeah petition has been in all day for it (PLEX'd into full sub). It does stink we are losing time on the accelerator just waiting for it :/

Cerebral Accelerator - not sure if this is exactly the same model as the one provided through the current offer.

A question for CCP Spitfire if you're still monitoring this thread — is the Cerebral Accelerator offered to those who subscribe from a Buddy Invite? That is to say, if I invite someone using a Buddy Invite and they then subscribe, do we then end up with the Buddy Invite 30 days/PLEX reward, a rare ship, a NeX shirt, and a cerebral accelerator as our booty?

Also, will this offer still be running after the Winter Expansion, so we can introduce new players to EVE with the pretty nebulas, four different racial CQs, and engine trails?

Can anyone point me in the direction of more information about the "rare ship" offers?
