Software freezes when adding skill

twice now my software has frozen when I have gone to add the next level of a skill to the training queue after adding a first one -i.e. - injected Salvaging - added Salvaging 1 to queue - fine - went to add Salvaging 2 as well behind it - freeze.
Twice this has happened with different skills. In each case after re-logging in the skill queue was frozen. Upon re-logging again the skill queue was now working but the skill I had been going to add was not in the queue -
Note: this is happening on my other account on my laptop and the toon in question is the alt of the main and has the Double Skill training in operation.
