Confirming that the pinpoint formation has been reasonably proper (it's an 8-probe pentagonal bipyramidal formation for you nerds, which in short isn't ideal, but is no worse and often slightly better than what a good 7 probe formation nets you in terms of result ;) since SiSi.

Besides, why do people launch probes while sitting still? *rolls eyes at the n00bs, then teaches them the Right Way of doing it*

yeah this is weird. Just checked mine, i used to have 198+, now have 196.2...
seems odd considering the skill changes.

One skill stack with the other. I dont know the stacking penalties. Someone more math-wise care to help?

I generally agree with your comments. Personally, I've found that some of the more 'mundane' / annoying changes (like the analzye / recall / reconnect button positions) are a little easier to stomach now that I'm getting used to them .. but still annoyed at them.

I posted this in the other thread, I won't copy/paste it though.

The spread is good for those of us with poor memories that can't recall where that 5th sig in the system was. Click it, find it, switch back to pinpoint. Not having to recall the probes to switch the formations is a big plus as well.

I'm really hoping they fix the ship change bug. If you change ships, your scanner list is ported over to the new ship. So, if you had anomalies ignored and had scanned down one sig, that one sig is all the new ship sees too. You have to change systems or relog to get a refreshed scan on the new ship. They should simply allow the analyze button without probes to refresh the list.

New anomalies will refresh the list somewhat, but new signatures will not. You can change filters or click the box to make the new signature pop up most of the time. So the advantage is still with the hunters, unless someone just happened to be looking in the direction the new sig appeared.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

It's now possible to use MWD trick to launch probes since they do not decloak you at all anymore.

Jump in system, move any direction, and click probes+mwd+cloak.
