Hacking/Archaeology Rig calibration too high?

Hi again friends

It seems to me that 200 calibration for a T1 hacking rig is a little bit overkill, seeing as a ship set up specifically for hacking can only use two of its three rig slots. I understand the reasoning behind the high calibration cost of probing rigs, but I feel as though I should be able to fit three hacking/archaeology rigs for +30 virus coherence instead of two for +20.

If the T1 rigs were 100 calibration and the T2 rigs were 200 calibration, you could fit 1x T2 and 2x T1 rigs on your ship for +40 virus coherence. Right now there is very very very little reason to use the T2 hacking rigs. I don't think this is particularly overpowered, as there are few ways to improve your hacking besides training skills. A ship fully specialized in hacking/archaeology still struggles immensely with level IV skills and level V covops/electronics subsystem on the higher tier sites.

Right now the theoretical max virus coherence is 135, and this is the breakdown:

T2 Analyzer: 60
Skill trained to V: 50
Rigs: 20
Implant: 5

This change would bump the theoretical max to 155 virus coherence, giving max skilled players more of an edge, while providing lower-skilled players a fighting chance in the mid/high range sites. It's safe to assume that your average hacker has the following setup:

T1 Analyzer: 40
Skills trained to IV: 40
Rigs: 20

For a total of 100 virus coherence. This isn't terrible, but it seems (in my experience) to be just before the threshhold of "Okay this site is hard but if I actually work strategically I can get it done". About 110/1120 seems to be the necessary coherence to do sites like ruins with some strategy while being able to deal with unlucky surpressor/regenerator spawns.

TL;DR - The hacking rigs make no sense in terms of their calibration cost and should be toned down so you can actually fit three of them.

Eh. Covops have the best analyzer bonus and only have 2 rig slots, so it's a pretty mild concern in the end. I guess for T3s, but still - Seems like a mild concern, and I don't know that I would waste the rig slots on a T3 for a little extra coherence (but I have T2 analyzers).

The T2 analyzers are really good, as the additional strength frequently allows you to avoid an entire round's worth of damage that you would have taken with a T1 analyzer.

Seems like 135 is already a ton of coherence. Besides, it should still be possible to fail even with max skills.

But about the calibrations costs, I don't think there's any reason why a T3 should be better at hacking than a cov-ops.
