Removed the unused ‘Sell This Item’ and ‘Create Contract’ menu options

What do you mean 'unused'. I used it all the time for managing 1000's of corp sell orders/contracts. Can someone please explain to me how to sell/contract something out of the corp hangar now??

No they don't. They did more than than it says in the patchnotes, they removed Create Contract from NPC station based corp office divisions too, which is certainly not unused.

This needs bringing back sharpish; can work around with the immensely awkward create contract interface but it's a pain.

When i click on an item in the corp hangar, those options are no longer there (and no, not in a POS). The patch notes for today say 'Removed the unused ‘Sell This Item’ and ‘Create Contract’ menu options when right-clicking on an item in a Corporate Hangar Array or Personal Hangar Array' And those options are gone from the station hangar as well.

I was sure this would be only contracts, not sell option to?

WTF is the reasoning for this change?

Hmm. Well I created a lot of contracts from deliveries this morning, but I haven't tried normal hangars. Sounds like they threw the baby out with the bathwater.

Ok, I stand corrected and I can confirm that:

You can still create contracts from "Market deliveries" but you can't sell from there.

You can't create contracts or sell from station based corp hangars in the way you used to.

I'd love to know how regression testing managed to miss such an obvious case... or maybe I'm better off not knowing.

I have tried this. and also confirmed.

Sent a thingy about it, cos corporate hangar array != corporate hangar.


Although, the good thing is, I now have a legit reason to take all the stuff out of the corp hangars Twisted

How am I or any industrialist supposed to sell the things we build for the corp from the corp hangers into which they are delivered?

I and many of my corp mates used this option all the time.

Until its fixed, you have to move it to a personal hangar

Ugh... I forgot that

You can create a contract still from deliveries...however that means it is a convoluted work around, as you have to deliver it to yourself from the corp hangar, then create a contract to your corp, then get someone to accept it so it goes to deliveries X
