Cannot See Probes in Space...

No updates. No responses. No info. Irresponsible at this point. Certainly not what I pay for monthly. Especially since exploration is my main activity on eve.

Anyone having this issue not on an nvidia graphics card? Possible issue with it as it seems this is maybe a common link here?
On the note of no response.... Ill bump and agree again, come on CCP lots of us really excited to play this new content, it would be great to at least hear a we are still looking at this.

its mostly mac pro's that have ATI card options but there are very few of them.

issue persists with todays patch

Someone pointed out that the problem is because launched probes are sorted by remaining time, and that if you sort by probe name then all probes are shown in space no problem.

I wanted to try that but I can't see any way to sort the probes...

So i've tweeted CCP Rhodes (DEV who posted earlier in this topic) and got this response: http://cl.ly/Pivs

I guess the only thing we can do is wait and try to help by giving as much information as we can. I've got the 10.9 installer here but have to wait 2 weeks before I can install it. (Graduation exams, can't have my mac bugging on me)

Same problem here with an Imac early 2009 running 10.8.

Someone got a workarround that bug? Or got why the bug is intermitent?

Use OSX 10.7.x? As far as I can tell its a 10.8.x issue.

Yeah I have thought about that but I thing I cannot demote the OS wothout formating the full HD.

it´s really strange, 2 daily patches later it worked i thought "great they solved it" (wednesday scanning worked all day for me). now i tried and again it doesn´t. this together with the new requirements for playing eve on mac is a bad thing for playing eve on my macbook. i got a old pentium4 from 2000-i-don´t-know which i will try to get to work on tuesday, my macbook feels like a heating plate these days with eve -.-

Same problem here Macbook Pro late 2009.

Was working fine till the 21st then today I undock launch probes and click the PINPOINT formation before i use the spread, which is what I had been doing. Can't see probe spheres on map. I am able to scan sites down. I see the probe green lines when i move the group of probes so i can tell where sphere center is. I resized probes by moving mouse until mouse pointer changes shape.

When i get to the relic site, can icon that i have to analise is filled in (white color) instead of the outline of the diamond. Other than that normal behavior.

Restarted client same problem.

Yesterday the proves worked for me, all the day. This morning they are messed again... Someone has tested things and has some clue of what is causing this error? Maybe rebooting the computter changes it's display? Restarting the game solved the problem for someone? Or changing some in game settings?

The best thing we can do is try to find a solution by ourselves...

I am still having these issues. It sometimes work with no problem, and other times doesnt even if i restart client, flush cache, restart OSX. IIRC it worked best after third build after the expansion. I have learnt how to scan without them showing but it's slowing me down.

Hopefully this will be fixed this summer…

Alright this seems to work for me:

1. Start EVE
2. Clear all cache files at the login screen
3. Login on your scanning account or main w/e

Tried swapping accounts without clearing afterwards, that didn't work. But if I clear all cache files every time at the login screen before switching accounts it seems to work.

This brings it down to a caching problem?

I'm on a macbook pro 2010, 330m 256.

Update: On the 24th, monday it was working again after patch. Today the 26th after new daily patch it's not working again... Maybe just a coincidence.
