Feedback on the automatic scanning

I couldn't find any more appropriate place, so I guess I'll leave this here. I'm not demanding a change or anything, I'm just giving some feedback based on what I've seen as a player.

I really don't think having the combat and mining sites automatically scan and display graphically in the system itself is a good idea. So far, what I've seen all day has been my friend and I looking for mining sites and combat sites (respectively), and every one we've found has had three-to-six unrelated people inside already running them. These are in systems with only around 10 people or so in local. It's high-sec, yes, but pre-patch, we could usually find sites that are haven't been run and aren't currently being run if we tried, now we're having a really hard time about it.

I just think that the new mechanic has made these areas in high-sec too crowded for the amount of areas spawned.

The real issue is that a hostile character can reach a site in low, null, or wh so much faster then was possible before. On appearing in local it took the 10 seconds to run the onboard scanner and then the time to warp to a site. This was a reasonable time for someone paying attention to escape from the site before they arrived. Also removing the need for probes to reach ore sites changes it even more. A skilled person would take about 30 sec to get a warpable signiture after launching probes. In a wormhole seeing the probes on d-scan was the only warning someone would get.

All said adding the instant automatic scanner gives a huge advantage to a tackling ship that doesnt look like the intent of the changes. I recomend resetting the onboard scanner to its manual control with its original scan time. It is still reasonable for the onboard scanner to detect the presence of signatures requiring probes to get a warpable signal.

The other changes to the scan system don't have such a drastic side effect and can be kept.

I like the auto-scanner but I think there should be some of every type of site which must be scanned with probes. I'd also like to see deadspace pockets for some of the spawns of every type of site, especially the ones you spend a lot of time in: ratting (already available), but also mining and ice/gas

That's specifically for bugs. This isn't a bug, it's just me talking about a feature.
