Ever since the patch, my camera auto focus on any target I click. Sometimes it doesn't, how do i disable this from happening, I don't see an option in the settings.

Open up the directional scanner (it's one of the icons to the left of your shields/armor/hull bar) and make sure the auto tracking camera checkbox (near the top) is not checked.

Thanks a lot, that did the trick :) Btw,, pressing C fixed it, not unchecking it from the directional scanner.

There's two of them.

The directional scanner's camera rules only apply when the directional scanner is open. That way you only use the tracking camera when it's actually useful :D

The non-scanner is separate and usually has a cinematic offset to it where as the D-scan one is always centered on the ship.
