I've been wondering. Considering that with the new revamped exploration sites we are now coming across wrecks of ships we know are essentialy the remains of the original Terran colonisation fleets, does this mean we'll be uncovering some more information about our mythical ancestors? IS there still some databank in there that can operate and tell us more?

The Jove have spent some effort trying to conceal Terran wreckage and other remains from us. Is the fact that we can now find them a sign of their faltering society and they can't keep up anymore? Or is it simply an improvement of our own scanner technology that allows us to pick up things in space we couldn't before and wasn't as necessarry to keep hidden.

In this dark void we are like brilliant stars, holding within us both the creative and destructive power to bring a new dawn upon worlds or plunge them into eternal darkness.

I have a gut feeling that the Jovian Disease is finally overcoming the last of Jovians, hence why they can't enforce guidelines they put down on the four empires as well as the capsuleers several years back.

Of course, merely gut feeling.. could be completely off base.

In regards to what we might find..I say go out there, explore, discover, and let us know when you find something substantial Smile

Or, maybe, we can discover them because Jovians think we're ready for whatever we can find there?

Considering the way the Empires have been behaving lately, if that were the case, it'd be a serious lapse in judgement on their part.

And to be honest, now Odyssey is live, it seems that those Terran wrecks seem to be used in most relic sites being labelled as wreckage from say the Sansha or such, which I find terribly dissappointing. Doesn't make much sense really. Exploration mechanics have changed and some things look a little different, but in terms of what is out there to explore it doesn't look like much has changed.

Personally I think it would have been awesome if from time to time you could come across a site that maybe doesn't give much in terms of valuable items, but some tidbits of story, fragments of the past.
