I hope it's the year that both WiS and FiS can live in harmony, with simultaneous updates and bug fixes and stuff. Rather than CCP being devoted to only one or the other at any one time.

See, this is understandable. I just don't get the people who are outright against WiS being implemented in any way whatsoever.

Yes I most definitely want Station Environments and Establishments, they're a good idea, it's just that other things are more important right now.

I hope and think that CCP will revisit WiS more towards Autumn next year.

The problem with Incarna is there is NOTHING you NEED to do while in avatar form.

CCP is in a bind, they said it would be optional, but if it is optional can there be a reason?

I say screw it, add NEW content, made me use my avatar if I WANT IT.

While I play EVE because of FiS I always wanted to see WiS as well. The idea of stores and bars with gambling and whatnot always appealed to me and at first I trusted CCP would do it right.
When the devblog about AUR came out just before incarna's release it was obvious WiS wasnt going to be what I had hoped. The emphasis on NeX and vanity as well as the introduction of AUR made it seem as though WiS was nothing more than a trojan horse to get MT into the game.

The way CCP implemented WiS made me lose hope in it. While it saddens me to see all the potential go to waste I can't say I'm sorry WiS is being pushed back because CCP isnt doing it right anyway.

So yeah, I dont want more WiS right now. However, I'm not going to "like" this thread or the OP.

Yeah, I remember these pictures and the old videos. They looked so good.
I don't understand what happened to all of that stuff? Did CCP scrap it all and restart or what?

I just want to sit with my friends and gamble or play that RISK-eque minigame in Station sometimes :(

I agree about the NeX and AUR bit for the most part. It does seem like they used WiS/Incarna as a way and a reason to implement it, but it's not as big a deal to me since nothing in it is required or provides a bonus in any way, so it's essentially an option component.

Honestly, if CCP can just implement basic Station Environments with a Bar/Pub to gamble and talk with friends in as well as maybe a corporate office and that's all just to start, I'd be happy. I feel like CCP could do that easily, but instead they keep pushing it back.

I want WiS to work.. Work good BTW, no CQ. Its lame, it actually breaks the fluidity of gameplay. I used to do things fast without CQ in hangar. Not anymore, since I like eye candy too =P

Bring WiS to a worthwhile state, not CQ only. Unless there is something I can do only through WiS (Not CQ, please), WiS has no utility other then look pretty.

CQ could have been fun if CCP implemented the ability to have friends come into your CQ and play that boardgame CCP showed off a while back. Plus, they never should have made CQ mandatory, thankfully that is fixed.

I just want something else to do in EVE, even if it's ultimately just to waste a bit of time having random fun in a station.

I thought that WIS is moved to 2012 and i hope thats the case... if its abandoned or moved to "SOON tm" time frame than ill be pissed... Evil

all this years we are expecting wis in some form... all that time of development thrown in garbage because minority of ppl in eve that are so loud that my head hurts... What?

you know... 20 ppl with megaphones are so loud too... but thats only few ppl and not ppl that represents ppl of all world... Attention

WiS, yes, but only when it's ready, and that means a rich, multiplayer environment with lots to do. Also, not at the expense of FiS.
