What are the chances we could get EFT to export fits as a ship dna string?

Edit: Nevermind, I figured out how to find them in EFT.

That means that your targeting range is less than maximum weapon range.

Btw I have a feature request: could you please allow to create custom ships? Or at least ability to specify resist profile of NPC ships in DPS graph.

I downloaded update 2.19.1 and extracted it into its own folder in my Downloads folder.

When I execute the exe file, the application does not show up. I copied a fitting to my clipboard to try something different and the pop up displayed asking me of I would like to import the fitting in the clip board. I clicked both yes and no on different occasions. and the application still did not show up. When I hover over the icon in the taskbar, it looks as if the program is loaded, but it is nowhere to be found. I have minimized every application, and gone to the taskbar and clicked on only EFT and it still does not show up.

I still have a copy of 2.18.1 and 2.18.2 which of both work flawlessly.

I am very baffled at the moment as to why I am unable to see the 2.19.1 application.

I am running Windows 7, 64 bit, with 16GB of RAM. I have tried running this file in both regular and Administrator modes, neither of which work.

Not sure if anyone else is running into this issue and due to my PTSD and TBI, there is no way I can go through 70 some odd pages to see if there is a post on this.

Also, can someone explain to me quickly how to export a fitting that I create into EVE? I have tried the import/export menu and cannot figure it out.

Thank you for your kindness and also for such a helpful and wonderful program.

Friendly bump for a continuing great tool! Works great under Win8 Pro/64-bit.

There seems to be a small bug with the projected effects pane/sub-window and webber drones. Specifically the velocity penalty is not being applied to them. This was working in the previous version of EFT, and shipboard webbers properly apply their penalties when drag/dropped to the projected effects area. This affects all three sizes of webber drone.

@Mortrius: I have been noticing discrepancies between EVE and EFT. So I deleted all folders except "Setups" "Characters" and the "config .ini" and it resolved them (example my Machariel in-game has 350 calibration and in EFT it had 400) Maybe this will help you as well?

Copy the fit to the clip board. Open notepad in EVE, paste, and then link the item types. That is how I do it, if there is a faster way I would also sure like to know about it. :)

I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.

To Mortrius:
Nothing has been changed drasticly between 2.18.2 and 2.19.1 so if first runs fine for you second must too. I may suggest checking your antivirus if you use one. Also if you moved your setups and configuration files from older version to newer one you may want to try clean copy of new version without them first to see if it runs ok.

To export your fit to EVE:
1) If you made some changes in current working session, select "File > Import/Export to EVE > Update HTML setups library"
2) Select "File > Import/Export to EVE > Copy path to HTML setups library"
3) In EVE open ingame browser and paste copied path to address box and press enter.
4) In opened page find setup you want to import.
Or
1) Open setup you want to export to EVE in EFT
2) In setup menu (one which opens when you click down arrow next to setup list) select Export to XML
3) In opened dialog box pick any existing XML file to append your setup to this file or click save stright away to create new file
4) In EVE open fitting window, click Browse, then Import, then pick previously saved file and click Import

Anyone else having problems with EFT calculating weapon power usage re: Advanced Weapon Upgrades? If I use the All V setting, it calculates it properly. If I use this character with AWU IV (or manually set any real character to any level of AWU) the math is horribly wrong.

Hrm, I'm noticing that with the latest version (2.19.1) the numbers are quite off with some of my ship loadouts.

I've got the EFT saying I should be cap stable at XX percent, but in game, I'm at YY percent.

If you'd like, I can forward you the loadout and you can poke at it, to see what went bonkers.

Edit/update: I forgot to add, this is for a Minmatar Maelstrrom Battleship.

There are also some fitting incompatibilities. On my Gila it shows that there's only 1 CPU left to fit, while in game with the exact same fitting I have 6 CPU left.

It appears that 2.19.1 still doesn't know about the new destroyer/BC skills.

Any plans to update this?

Thanks!
