I may have found a bug in EFT.

One of the Nighthawk's bonuses is "5% bonus to heavy missile explosion velocity per level" (of the Command Ships skill). Logically, this should only apply to heavy missiles and possibly heavy assault missiles. However, EFT also applies the bonus to light missiles, if a Rapid Light Missile Launcher is fitted to the Nighthawk.

I can't currently check to see if this matches the behavior in game.

This is why Gripen gave us an MD5 checksum of the valid .zip archive! to reiterate his initial post:

"Archive file md5 sum is: dc54caeec73273cae2bf9d66ea85db95"

Though something he doesn't link is a tool to easily check so..

When I fit a heavy electron blaster on my Vexor, EFT doesn't show all the faction-ammo available for it, notable federation and shadow.
Still the most awesome fitting tool though. Thx!

Because Federation Navy & Caldari Navy ammo share the same stats, same as guristas and serpentis ammo.

Base grid is 1200mw in EFT, and also in-game for me. What discrepancy are you seeing?

A little premature I know but do we have an eta on Odyssey version yet?
If only there was a way to make use of eft mandatory so I wouldnt see things like active tanked drakes

Been meaning to report it earlier, but seems EFT gives way too little falloff for turrets when there's falloff bonuses involved in the ship/fit. Like for my Astarte with Null and two tracking computers with optimal range scripts it gives 19km when in-game it is 27km, and so forth.

The numbers being reported are represented differently. In EFT optimal and falloff are listed as absolutes, in game the values are combined to calculate falloff. So 8+19=27. In game the optimal value is added into the falloff range to give the true range that you can hit.

Just keep in mind that the latest EFT version is going to need some work, given the number of ships being changed, the modules being added, and especially the skill changes. I can't even guess how importing characters from older EFT versions will work with the destroyer and battlecruiser skill splits...

the old character pull from the API had one dessie skill and one BC skill, the current API pull has 4 of each.

the update needs to be done on the ships on EFT, no need to update character sheets.

Its not like there hasnt been a change in the past thats why we are up to v2.18.2 we are just asking for an ETA we know the E stands for ESTIMATE. Any way big love to the creators and maintainers of EFT we love your work and as this thread shows we are rather lost without you so can we please have some info?

Googled something on batteries and it looks like it is believed that batteries only drain cap of the ship that neuts you, but they do not affect how much cap ship with battery loses when neuted. If that is true, EFT is correct. If you have evidence that it's not how it works, please provide a link. Honestly, I'd really love someone finally making it crystal clear how batteries work.
