From the Norton wiki "SONAR.Heuristic.120 is a heuristic detection for processes based on certain attributes. "

So, EFT triggers some of their "certain" attributes, probably by talking to the network AND they don't know it, because very few people use it, so, according to Norton, the best course of action is to go to DEFCON 1.

FYI - i had disabled my pricing updates to stop Norton clearing the exe, i've just turned it back on and norton isnt complaining anymore.

So it looks like norton sorted its ****, or the call that EFT was making has been cleaned up on the remote end to not look dodgy, either way \o/

Love this tool, but the download site chosen to distribute it is garbage. I can't stand it. The last three updates I've contended with the site just to download the file but with this last patch I'm just sick of it. I'll certainly be limiting myself to Pyfa moving forward.

EFT is an outstanding app, but the choice of download sites is atrocious.

In other news, I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but if you look at the description of a Cynabal in EFT, it says in the role bonus:

75% bonus to Medium Hybrid Turret damage


whereas the kronos patch notes said cynabals get:

25% bonus to Medium Projectile Turret rate of fire



Considering the rest of the bonuses are still for projectiles instead of hybrids, I'm assuming its just a typo in the description, perhaps? But it may be worthwhile to check to see if the mathematics are including the attack speed for projectiles instead of a dmg buff to hybrids :D

Main download -> The site selected is not letting every countries download from it.

Alternative download -> They say the file is too big and can't be downloaded except by using their service.


In both case, no way to reach it directly, and not sure I can reach it without having to create
any account. Not exactly a "user friendly" kind of alternatives ways to download.


So please, use others sites that are not as problematics.

I really love that application, just hope to have access to it in the future, and not
having it restricted because of the download sites selected.

This has been fixed in most recent release already.

Which country are you in? As for alternative download: can you provide a screenshot? Are you sure you're clicking download button and not one which saves file to your account?

I love this tool, but I cannot fit Strategic Cruisers in it. They have no High, Medium or Low slots, 0 Power, 0 CPU, etc. when I open them. Is there a solution for this? I have searched, but cannot find an answer.

I thought I posted this before, but I cannot find it for the life of me. If I did, I apologies.

Edit: I am REALLY sorry. I never added subsystems.

Here is one suggest I have:

Could you please add in the Sub-Menu of affecting skills, there, where you can change the skill level for some item, an extra entry for showing the info of the skill?

Like this:

Level 1
Level 2
x Level 3
Level 4
Level 5
show info

I think I'm not he only one who don't know each skill, so it would be quicker to show what each affecting skill exactly do, instead of every time search for a skill to look what it does...

Also these download sites are pretty crap -

at the second one linked in the O.P

"Exceeded file download limit. You can only save it to Yandex.Disk." even though I've NEVER downloaded anything from that site Ugh

First link lets me download it but after three fails at installing due to Norton I'm now locked out unless I pay for a premium account. Is it so hard to link your outstanding app to a simple 'one click download site?

I'm getting the same thing from that Yandex site.

Other site worked ok, I think your problem there is Norton, it's has a pretty terrible reputation.

Yeah I ignored the quarantine on my final attempt and it seems to be running ok now. Still a great ap!
