Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Used to I could right click and select dock at station or jump a gate or auto pilot

then if I had a friend messaging me or reading/writing an email I would alt tab.


The problem now is, when I alt tab the voice audio keeps repeating itself

"Docking request accepted"
"Docking request accepted"
"Docking request accepted"

over and over and over.

while I am alt tabbed from the game. As soon as I bring the game back into focus it says it 1 more time but doesn't dock, the ship just sits there after the voice said Docking request accepted a dozen times or so.

so I have to manually once again tell it to dock while the window is up for the docking to work.


The same goes for jumping to new systems if I click jump on a gate which when I click jump instead of warp to I also get the jumping sound repeated over and over and over if I am alt tabbed.

Once I bring the game window back up it's just sitting there and has never jumped even though the audio for the jump was played a dozen or so times while alt tabbed. So I have to manually once again click jump.



It's very annoying when I finish a mission and click dock to station and alt tab to do something else real quick and the ship's voice starts repeating "Docking request accepted" 10-20 times in a row over and over. Yet when I alt tab back into the game the voice is said 1 to 2 more times but the ship never docks at all. Just sits in space.

until I again tell it to dock.


somehow alt tabbing is interrupting any commands that was given to dock, jump, autopilot, orbit, etc.

If I am orbiting something and I alt tab, when I get back the ship has went off into a straight line and stopped orbiting.

still having issue

when alt tabbed or game is minimized and you tell ship to dock

the voice just repeats "docking request accepted" over and over forever

until you open the window

when you open the window it stops repeating "docking request accepted" but it won't dock just sits there

you have to manually tell it to dock again for it to dock



same goes for auto pilot, orbiting, and jumpgates

if you alt tab while orbiting and come back the ship is flying off straight breaking orbit

if you auto pilot while alt tabbed the voice repeats "jumping" forever every 2 seconds when you alt tab back into the game the voice stops but your ship is just sitting there and you have to manually click jump again.


alt tab is cancelling out any ship commands or getting the voice thing all bugged out.

Personally, I don't have the continuous repetition of the speech but the game sometimes does not recognize or forgets the Dock part from the Warp and Dock button or the Jump part from the Warp and Jump button.

i confirm that the game won't dock / jump unless the game has focus.
