This.

Also, you dummies who think game mechanics should not give an advantage better L2P and HTFU. EVE's all about the combat mechanics. Deal or Die.

My awoxing alt got a freighter yesterday in a catalyst. The freighter pilot was right next door to the system that had 13 of his corp mates running L4 missions. Instead of asking for help, he opened a private convo & paid the ransom I asked for. When I continued shooting he tried to log off. He had over 10 minutes to call for help & had he done so, I would not have received that kill. I was in no way guaranteed that kill as he had every opportunity to prevent it. I wake up this morning & despite having no roles, I haven't been removed from the corp.

Awoxing isn't overpowered, people are just dumb.

Moral and ethical considerations aside - none of which I think have any place in the governance of Eve mechanics - being able to shoot your own corp members makes sense for an RP perspective.

The corporation is itself a legal entity. Why would Concord intervene to stop a corporation destroying its own assets?

It is an internal affair.

It's so stupidly easy to avoid recruiting the bad guys (like me) that frankly I'm appalled at how easily we do the damage we do. And it would be even easier to stop their attacks.

It's not like we've ever gone to great lengths to hide what we do. People still recruit us.

For evidence of how effective this is, check Psychotic Monk's corp history and compare it to his Killboard.

...and his blog.

...and his CSM platform.

Nah that should be the corporations responsibility to make sure their recruits aren't awoxers, and it should be the joiner to make sure they're cautious, people learn the hard way, they shouldn't give up eve because of a single incident aswell, and awoxing is a game mechanic put in place to make the game seem more realistic anyway.

So you want eve to be more realistic? Then let us shoot fleet members.

CCP literally used infiltrating a group and killing them in one of the adverts for EVE.

I don't think they're going to remove it just because a bunch of bad, irresponsible CEOs let anyone into their corp, mate

Be a better at managing your corp or face the consequences :)

How does that follow?

A corporation exists in the eyes of CONCORD as a sovereign entity that is able to declare war, and own starbases.

A fleet exists in the eyes of CONCORD as a nothing entity that is able to do nothing.

Sovereign entities have always had the right to police any conflicts that may arise among their own members.

You can, just do it in lowsec/nullsec, claim that you're doing a test fleet or want a wingman, otherwise just concord yourself if you wanna go to that extent Bear
