I'm sometimes getting a greyscreen during gate jumps. About 1 in 20 and utterly random, sometimes 2 back to back and then perfectly normal for 30 jumps. I've also had 2 jumps where the clouds in the jump anim arent quite rendered properly or fully, it's odd looking and very difficult to describe. Even had a wierd semi-sideways view angle during one of these.

Issue loading the game on multiple clients.

2 computers - i7 (16GBRAM) and i5 (8GBRAM). SATA disk drives (Much space free). One runs a GTX650 - the other runs an HD 6950. These cards on't have MASSIVE space - 2 GB max. i7 Will have WMP running. Computers will have booted up and done nothing before playing EVE. Steam will be running on i7. Synergi is running as server on i5 and the client is the i7. Drop Box is running on i7. Computers will have been left for a while (10-15 mins) before I do anything with them.

First client will always load fine.
Second clients get stuck - I load to Captain's quarters - and the flashing "Loading" text stops flashing after a while - can click to go to Hanger - all other buttons, icons, UI do nothing - In hanger everything is OK - but graphics might be corrupt in terms of the ship textures missing - can not go back to the CQ without the "Loading" text stopping flashing and the CQ fails to load again.

Use Case:
I fire up all clients 2 and 3 respectivly on each machine.
Clients Sitting at Potrait screen.
I position clients to correct windows for the logged on character.
All screens now have the correct borderless window on the client Portrait screen on their respective monitors.
I then click all the portraits in quick succession to start the game.

Result:
1 of the clients on each computer will load correctly
The others may, or may not, load up. Mode of failure is that the flashing "Loading" text stops flashing and the client fails to load up completely - no error message - can only click enter hanger button - often then have missing graphics elements.

Variations:
Tried from EXE file - Tried from Launcher. Same results.

Work Around:
Launch one client
Leaving that one client to fully load to game.
Then leave a "Bit of time" (few seconds) extra before firing up, (clicking on portrait), of next client.
Must do nothing!!! whilst second/third client is loading - untill fully loaded. I.E. Must not click notifications - must not try to shortcut key open Cargo Hold - hanger Floor - etc. Must wait till client fully loaded. Or else it seems like it will fail.
Leave a Bit of time extra
Fire up final client.

The game is solid once all screens are fully loaded.

This happened once before after Incarna (not Incarna - but an update soon after Incarna) and just got fixed at some point. Was able to follow the use case without incident before the latest update (800MB Odyssey update).

I don't consider this a big issue at all. And assume it is because you put some new assets in the game and it's pushed my older cards over their limit. . . Limit in terms of the drivers loading all game assets on launch for multiple clients.

Reposting here from the feedback thread:

The delay is very noticeable with any option I tried in the drone menu on right-click, and the delay is just as long when using a repeated command (such as, launch drone, salvage, engage, etc..)

There is no delay when using the keyboard shortcuts to engage or recall drones so it seems to be tied to the menu itself, not the drone command mechanisms.

What solution? There is no hotkey for "launch drones' - you still have to wait for the right click to catch up and display the menu.

Oh goodie, the obnoxious looting mechanic is now properly more obnoxious.

This has probably already been mentioned but I'm not reading through 37 pages of issues, so.
Each time there is a patch the launcher forgets all cached user names.
After each patch I need to accept the enduser licence - for each character I login.
Opening the launcher and clicking one of the links, ie; patch note link ,sometimes freezes my computer, longest was the last of close to 2 mins.

I continue to have camera zoom issues when undocking.

I have installed the patch that addressed this issue, and the problem partially continues.

I am able to undock several times using various ships with the zoom setting properly holding. Then for no apparent reason, I undock and my zoom is set at maximum magnification.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to determine a pattern for this behavior.

I am also having issues with the combat warning sounds, low cap, shields, armor, etc. (The traditional sounds.)

The volume for these warnings is so low that I am barely able to hear them. In fact, in combat, I do not hear them.

I am using an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 Video Card on a computer running Windows 7 Professional. (64 Bit.)

Just my two cents.

- Black screen in HS warptunnels,and stuttering view,the old one was better for our health
- Random disconnects,never had those in these amounts
- Bring back the old WH jump animation and sounds, the new ones plain suck and create confusion
- Bring back exploration as it was, what we have now is for the consoles
- Remove the idiotic alarms when taking some damage

New issues:

*Black screen after undocking is still there, and the trick of opening the map does NOT always works.

*Zoom keeps on resseting to zero after undocking.

*Sometimes the jumpgate tunnel animation is not there, but replaced by a whole gray screen

After todays patch - Still getting random black screens on undocking. Been able to fix it with two F10 as before.
GTX660, if it matters.

you can also dock again... that works for sure..

however CCP it is stupid to say that u have fixed this issue when u clearly have NOT

Bug report:

Client: Windows 7/8 x64

Timeline: bug present in Odyssey. Bug existed in Retribution, perhaps earlier.

Description: upon first login, sometimes characters in "local" list will not have proper +5/+10 friendly standings displayed.

Example: character is in an alliance (CONDI / GSF), and when logging in sometimes characters in _other_ alliances (like SMA, GENTS, etc), whose alliances have +5 or +10 standings to our alliance, display with no colortag (ie "neutral") in local list.

Workaround: if you minimize the "local" window to menubar, and then reopen it, the correct standings colortags are displayed.

Reproduction: I am unsure if this is 100% reproducible upon logging in. It seems to happen inconsistently, but it does happen for many, many people. Not just me.

Severity: this is a serious gameplay issue which confuses players and causes ships to get blown up by people who should be friendly.

Right ive done some more playing with the black screen problem.........

if the scanner map is set to system before been closed, then there is a very good chance that a black screen occurs when you undock. Im not sure about jumping as ive not had a BS from jumping yet.

....cure for this is obviously to close the scanner when the scanner map is set to star not system.

....however, im now finding that undocking from certain stations seems to reset the scanner map from stars to system, hence causing a black screen to reappear. So you can dock with it set to stars, but then undocking for some stupid reason has reset it to system.

I have yet to be able to undock without a black screen when the scanner map is deliberately set to stars.

Accessing all the POS structure hangars while in the bubble is a terrific UI improvement!

BUT. not being able to access the Blue Prints in the aforementioned structures negates its usefulness.

The darkness is spreading.

I started a mission and undocked to a black screen. Then I noticed I couldn't scroll the camera outwards from my ship. So I relogged.

When I tried to finish the mission, the icons for targetted items had black centers, but there weren't any other problems.

I decided to log off after that one mission and check back in a few days to see if anything constructive has been done.

My system is a 6 year old Dell with an Nividia GeForce 210, running Windoze 7. I have a better graphics card, but it won't fit into the computer.

Drone right click launch menu still lags.

Also getting crazy lag while running incursions over time (esp when two or more fleets are on grid).
