Ok... except almost NO ONE knows about that little hack.

YOU are the first person I have ever heard of this hack from.

And you forget...

... not EVERYONE in this game CAN type.

There are folks who play EVE who are handicapped, like one player on a thread I chatted with about mouse differences, he only has the control of his eyes, lips, and two fingers and thumb of his left hand...

... so he HAS to point and click EVERYTHING in this game.

A way to set up overview settings from inside your station without having to memorize 400 macro commands or DOS Prompt line commands would be awesome.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

CCP will probably say that if you want the safety of messing with overview settings in space, do it in an alt, and export/import changes.

That takes zero time to code, and makes you do all the work. WIN WIN for CCP.

"/open_overview_settings" OR NOT Lol

"If you are docked, you can still view and alter your overview settings, but you need to set up a shortcut to do so. Press Escape, go to the Shortcuts tab. Within the Shortcuts tab, go to the Window tab. Scroll down and you will find an Open Overview Settings option - set any keybind to this command. Now you can use this keybind even when in a station"

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.
