I just spent a few minutes on general discussion forum, trolls everywhere, locked threads everywhere, tears and people with names like "Lrn2Pl@yn00b" etc

In general I find these forums alot better than other sub-forums and those in game to be more mature.

Of course this is hard to prove statistically or anything since maturity is subjective. In general though we throw alot less excrement around here.

There has been some statistics before about average age of eve players [citation needed] but I wonder if its higher here? The youngest guy in my corp is probably 18ish and he gets plenty of banter at him because of it but for most games he would be the tough older kid :)

yes and no! to the OP my name is a great example.. a lot of people think at first glance that i am a childish pot head based on the words and numbers in my char name.. but log on my corps ts3, anyone will tell you that i am one of the chillest person to talk to.

not talking just about eve, life, gf and anything really. i like to keep my mood up tempo and enjoying my time with my corp.. i think most of the people in my corp are in their early 20's. im 22 but there are some people in my corp 2x times my age.

never judge a book by its cover first off, get to know ur corp people. then make your assuptions.

IMO i think that playing wh's is a higher level of play.. i like to compare it to the WNBA(null) to the NBA (WH's) lol!

Didn't check, but yeah - wormholes appear to be more civilized, not only on forums.
Our recruits have additional troubles getting in if they are less then 20 years old, and have several men 50+.

Civilized on the forums? Maybe more then on general and caod, but there's plenty of trolling and banter going around.... not that it's a bad thing.

I think this thread wasn't necessary. It's pretty much just another 'This demographic is better then the rest'. And you're only better if you act better and not just by saying it

We're all teenagers, but we consider ourselves reasonably mature, relatively speaking. The responsibility of having young families while trying to find jobs in an economic downturn has put wizened heads on strapping young shoulders. We all look up to our eldest, however. At 19 years old, this venerable pilot has been an inspiration to us all, sometimes just logging in to hear his sage council, knowing that at our tender years, we still have much to learn.

But we daren't entitle ourselves as 'mature'. At least not until Zeyta's voice breaks.

Just charming and to the op ... You saying I'm old lol
