[odyssey] Exploration and ships

So I am trying to get ready for the expansion and I am really excited. But I was wondering with the changes what ship should I be using to explore? Is the Imicus the goto ship for me now? Its cheap and can pretty much do everything except cloak while warping. The helios bonuses seem worthless besides the covert ops bonuses, and they dont seem that much better than the regular Imicus stuff.

We also dont need any damage anymore from what I understand right? So turrets, and drones wont be of much use? Ive been using a Vexor for exploration in low sec, but with the possibility of running sites in a cheap frig low and null seem no problem...how will prices for the loot not drop a ton?

Anyway, im pretty noobish, but I just wanted to see how I should prepare to explore.

Why you dont need anymore damage? If you plan on doing radars and so on you neeed same damage. Since rats do spawn from node activation .

Do they still spawn from node activation? When I was watching the streams they said there will be no rats in the sites. They said currently on the server they havent taken them out of spawning if you fail but it sounded like they were going to.

T1 scan frig + T2 analyser/hacker.
Buy a bunch of them and put them near 0.0.

Farm for Faction towers all day long :)

Profit.

They're supposed to change the t1 and t2 bonuses to make the t2 better, but not sure how long it will take them to get around to it. If you're going to be in high sec, the imicus is probably all you'll need. All the rats are supposed to be gone from the relic/data sites, but who knows if they'll all be gone on patch day.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
