I have concluded that Harry is a goon alt, and the actual plan is to lure high seccers to null, with cyno kills getting people excited, numbers ramping up, and then when there is a nice number of people all hanging outside VFK partying, suddenly explosions.

for the event you may try to bring your ships into the system upfront, we might run into bigger gatecamps at the event day

as for the people who aren't hilariously risk-averse incursion runners, bring dictors, bombers and tier 3 BCs. for the ones who don't really care about the possibility of losing a few hundred mil, bring cynabals.

I gave him a boatload of T1 frigates and he's doing things with them that make me feel like I've been playing the game wrong for 7 years.


This is not about the goons, nor directly about nullsec, it's the false paradigms of nullsec. People have worked hard to create this Big Lie about nullsec being the land of instant and certain death - unless you join THEIR alliance of course.

It's all bullshit. The entire player base has been bullshitted. Anybody can go to nullsec and have a good time.

I have used wormholes to get to deep null. No gank pipelines with people having to take a break from their pron or forums because I pop up on their intel channels, no bubbles - deep deep null...

Nullsec is empty because we have been lied to. All those accounts on the forums of "well I had everything in my ship and it got ganked the first jump into..." Most of them are lies.

What we have of nullsec is a corporatist run feudalism built on lies. The inner edge of the blue donut (when there was one things are a bit odd lately) is the Great Wall of Carebear but there are bears on BOTH sides of this wall. On the outside are bears who do everything that they would do in highsec, but act like it's a land of instant doom and having to worry about getting jumped every two seconds (it does happen - Harry's crew is the one jumping them now), and they come to these forums to perpetuate that.

On the inside of the wall is everybody who is believing the lies.

Yes, you do lose ships of course. There's PVP there. But the nullbears have lost their edge and forget that's what nullsec is for.

And of course if we are dealing with people who are grinding away mindlessly in a Ritalin fog with the wallet open, watching the number climb, they are playing the same game as the nullbears. Just in a different place. All this crying about highsec is really a strawman argument though for all it really does is cover for the fact that there's a lot of ISK to be made in null. A LOT of ISK when you don't want SOV and 1 billion ISK per month (holy cow people PAY to be there how stupid is that?) So if we can break people out of this aspergian ISK obsession, not only will they have a good time, they will learn that nullsec is worth the risk and that trespassing out there to take those risks is well worth it.

You do not have to take your main char with the 900,000 ISK implant set and your faction BS. Roll an alt, take a rifter (we got piles of them to spare along with a variety of other T1 ships) and HAVE SOME FUN. It's time to start shooting each other and enjoy this game.

A lot of high seccers have been getting on the BURN GOONS bandwaggon, but they really don;t get that if evicted from null goons really would return to high sec. It would be hulkageddon, ice interdiction and burn jita 24/7.
I for one and happy with allowing goons to continue existing far far far away from me and having their occasional flits to highsec.

Holy cow it's ODO from DS9 now we have the dominion invading New Eden.

Clearly the idea is to keep Goons interested so they don't lose their war of attrition and leave null.
