once i was declared spy and kicked from corp/alliance.

All it was result of me (1st time into 0.0) found cyno in overview and asked in Local "can i watch capital jump" or something. Got answer "get out" and got out.... To find myself kicked few hours away Shocked

In Eve Online you don't need reasons to declare someone spy. You just choose someone around and do it! Lol

Caldari Militia is full of paranoid retards. I do find it amusing though. QCATS are, by far, the laziest corp in FW. The thought that we would actively spy on anyone is laughable.

I was recently booted from GHIOT and branded a spy by the Caldari militia. Understandably, this is EVE and anything can happen, but I'd like to believe that calmil should base their decisions on concrete evidence and logical reasoning. For this, I demand a proper trial before being branded a spy!

What are the accusations on which this decision was made?

I invite you to examine my kill mails:

Awoxer? I haven't killed a single calmil. Informant for qcats? Unlikely, unless chatgris likes giving away solo kills.

I'm a casual player with low sp, but I've flown with killer, mayhem, khan and others who were FC. Chime up if you've seen evidence of my espionage.

Please, renew my faith in the calmil! After all, if we can't even differentiate the honorable from the spies, what kind of leadership do we have?

Confirming we're the laziest corp in FW by a Nennamaila warp. (And we're talking an Aldra - Hikko warp.)

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

One day leadership may just declare you a spy and your "friendships" were as meaningless as last night's one night stand.

WTF. You said I was special. Cry

On a serious note though, spy-paranoia has seemed to ruin much of the enjoyment that used to be had with make-shift fleets forming in militia Chan. Joining those fleets used to be a great intro to PvP, plus you'd get to meet lot's of other pilots and earn some trust. Now it seems you have to be an established member of a well known corp to even get a fleet spot. Personally I prefer to stay mostly independent, and so haven't had the fun in fleets like I used to a couple years ago.

If anyone in your corp has run an entire plex timer down in the last month then that title is still mine.

"Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!" My suggestion for getting to the bottom of this is to subscribe to Netflix or Hulu, and have yourself a Burn Notice marathon. If that doesn't convince you to just move on, then you could pitch a spinoff to Fox, but we all know how they treat SciFi shows.

Who gives a f*ck what the 'tards in Militia Chat think? Do your own thing... Being a spai only means something when you get in with some monumentally stupid CEOs or FCs... Then you rip them off for everything and laugh all the way to the bank.

I solo in FW. Can't stand the crap, and fly where and when I want.

I have been called a spy in every militia I have joined. The key to dealing with this label is to SOLO.

After-all. YOLO and 1337!

Calmil has more tinfoil hattery than any other militia . So why does OP even care?

But I'll share you a little anecdote that hopefully will inspire you;

6-9 months ago, I met a pilot who was in FDU; the NPC corp, for Gal Mil. He was in on a few fleet fights and made every attempt to do what's needed to belong. I could tell he was noob because he didn't understand certain protocols in fleet. We had just lost a fleet fight and the FC and some of the senior pilots started screaming "SPAIS" in comms. The noob was called out because

a) he didn't have proper blue tags for Teamspeak
b) he in an NPC corp

I was pretty sure he wasn't the spy and it was someone who had blue tags and was in an established player-runned corp. But tinfoil hattery was in full effect now. People kicked him from comms. They embarrassed the poor guy and he was forever labeled a spy.

A corp decided to take a gamble on him and it paid off. Today, he generally averages 100-200 kills/month. He is an FC for that corp and I've flown with him enough to trust his competency.

High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve .

Oh Deen, he's just becoming a better and better mole and you're helping him do that. X

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, please give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

It's really not that bad in Caldari.

I've only been called a spy once cause I've flown with chatgris's 'Informant' lots Big smile

TBH - In hindsight I have realized I owe chatgris and co some thanks cause the free tears I was delivered on comms well after the event took place were the biggest and most genuine I've ever received during my time playing Eve.
