Launcher, Downtime / Idle Time and Me (or you)!

Is there any way to have the launcher keep its connection open longer? It seems that after downtime, or after any hour+ long break I have to close the launcher and re-open it if i want eve to actually Launch. I got quite used to having the launcher always open and then just clicking play eve or whatever when I waned to login another account or if I got disconnected and now I have to go all the way to the desktop which is normally buried under 100000 other windows or the start menu to re-launch the launcher.

Anyone have a fix for the launcher timing out and not launching eve?

The login token should persist for 6 hours. I'm gonna have to look into this.

When this happens, are you able to use the launcher otherwise, apart from launching the game are you able to switch characters, re-log in etc. or does the launcher simply stop working all together?

Thats the thing, even if I sign out, and sign in a different account It logs me in, and then when I click play nothing happens. I have to close the launcher and restart it. If I just had to relogin to the account that would be ok, as most times I'm switching account anyway, but having to close and reopen the launcher is kinda silly.

Do you think you could send me the logs from anytime this has happened?

They should be in launcher/cache and named something like "launcher.2013.05.31.log" (please select one for a date where you have run into this problem). You can upload it to something like http://pastebin.com/ and just PM me the link, or just use any method you want.
