Oh, come on John! You look so serious in your license photo, it's frightening. You just have to be able to spare some time to unwind, right?

Chilled Quafe™, accept no refreshment substitute. For all of you affluent Capsuleer-types, Quafe Elite™ restaraunts can be found at many stations! Only got a few minutes to spare before that fleet-op? Swing by QuafeSnacks™ for the full taste-experience you've come to expect from Quafe, on the go!

UPDATE:

Once again, I'll be blunt. I'm surprised people actually dug the place and keep showing up. I'm really happy about it. I've been toying with the idea of arcology development in spots around the beach, jungle, and rest of the island (yes the place is island, just big). Some people are staying almost all the time because they like it so...I figured I might start making some small houses VERY SPARINGLY for people's personal use.

Like I said, Auever is meant to be a place to chill and forget about the politics, the war, the endless debates, the drama, etc. It's a place where you leave that all in orbit and try to be civil. Because of that, people are staying more to relax and know that they don't have to be on guard all the time AND that the place is rather well hidden. So, if you don't start any **** and you like Auever, let me know if you'd be interested in a little hideaway of your own and I'll uh...I dunno, go poke through the island and find something.

And by find I mean stumble over and fall on/into by complete accident because I am a klutz.

Ah even if it is not a nude beach! I will make sure to come along. Looking forward to it.

Is that voluptuous Quafe woman stalking you, ahh? You keep showing up in the same places!

But seriously, I'm looking forward to our visit to this beach, work permitting. It's been many years since my feet touched sand!

I might have to go to this beach just out of curiosity... I've never seen a Caldari out of uniform and 'relaxed'... didn't think it was possible. Although to make them feel comfortable you might want to sell some Caldari Navy Issue beach wear at the store and also be sure to post the BEACH RULES on a big sign in a very prominent place. Them Caldari's sure do love rulz...

You raised an interesting point:

"Can most people not swim?...it never occurred to me. I'll uh...have to get some people to prevent others from drowning."

It occurs to me that not too many capsuleers would know how to swim... or surf... I have an image of dead clones washing up on the shore with with the local fauna pecking out the implants. This could ruin the 'fun family-friendly' beach image you are trying to promote. Might want the staff to gather up the dead clones quickly for disposal and consider installing a local clone vat for the quick-return of your longer term guests.

One question Anslo, does your bar sell Outer Ring Brandy? (aka 'rocket fuel'). If it doesn't, I can sell you some. While not strictly illegal, (at least not everywhere), it is considered one of the more powerful relaxants available and has both medicinal, recreational and commercial uses. (You can pour it in your ships engine and it will recharge your cap to full!). There's nothing like Rocket Fuel to loosen up even the stiffest Caldari!

You are still at it??

*grimaces, holding up a large, green frog plush toy*

Show us on this doll where the evil Caldari woman hurt you.

I wish I'd read this prior to going, I'd have had people take pictures of my surfing and playing in the sand.

Good times, Anslo!

Aw, I wish I'd seen that!

I got like, epically side-tracked last night or I'd have been there.

Still gotta pick up by Quafe beach bag. ♥

I have Visited this Beach.

I met some Interesting People and had Conversations with them.

There are also Lobsters, Shrimp, Flatfish, Seagulls and many Other Sea Creatures to Encounter.

I also constructed a Sand Castle.

I would Recommend It.

So I'm taking a quick poll for a new project. If you could get real estate on the island, be it near the beach or in the jungle, would you want it?

So forgive my silly question as I've been on a sabbatical for quite sometime, and I'm still getting reacquainted with New Eden. But is this beach a place we can actually go to, or a channel we join, or what?

I want a cute little tree house looking over the waterfall. It has to be shaped like a big acorn!

I would build a magnificent palace in the jungle.

And then spend all of my time deep inside it where the sun can't reach, playing hologames, drinking and whining at people on the IGS.

Is there a grotto? I haven't been able to visit yet but when out swimming it would be great to have a little grotto under a waterfall or hidden from view to hang out and relax in.

Might be a nice idea if it isn't there yet. Also, I really need to fish my girl out of her wormhole and make her come over here with me!

I think there is. I haven't explored the whole place so...

I best bring a backpack with supplies as well in that case!

Depends. I'm not gonna pay a NeX-style ridiculous price for it. And I would need to visit more often. I think I will though, it's a nice place, and I haven't even seen the waterfall, or anything other than the beach and bar, really.

You need to explore it more Che. Leave the beach and take a path or go through a cave. As for price?...no, **** NeX. I'll figure something out.

You need some kind of net, to keep the Lobsters out, or so I hear.

I heard that you can be just minding your own business, building sandcastles and the like, when suddenly, wave upon wave of invading lobsters march out of the ocean, waving claws and antennae at people.
