This and shoddy bonds. It's basically all MD has become. CCP we need some major changes to something along the production path to make things interesting. Something that would potentially crush holders of certain items due to sudden lack of value.

I know it sounds negative but a major crash in certain areas would really spice things up.

I for one give my honest appraisal of things and advice. I do not however reveal in what or how much of a thing I invest or the methods and data I use to come to my conclusions.

Most of MD however is a load of crap, but there are a few people around that have something worth saying and worth reading.

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.  - William Pitt

Care levels critically low, also the new forums still leave a lot to be desired as far as my eyes' contentment levels go compared to the old ones, and I bet that's also the case for a lot of the "old guard" MD.
Plus, the overall activity level is down to that of nearly 3 years ago thanks to the not-yet-reverted mass "you broke EVE and now it totally sucks" exhaustion//protest quits and/or alt number reductions and/or less time spent logged in and "feeding the economy" (be it as consumer or producer).
And a lot of those left don't really care about MD all that much.
So, basically, not quite ghost town, but getting pretty damn close.

Things are starting to pick up in the bottleneck advanced mats, and I don't see the huge stockpiles being brought to bear that were previously squashing the price.

I, for one, am optimistic.

i think its time to remove t1 bpos, that coupled with the increase in pos maintenance should discourage average noobs from flooding the market with cheap ships.

I'm disappointed in the direction that this alt has taken. Shilling intact armor plates and planetary vehicles (you guys are going to buy my massive stock of planetary vehicles now that PI has been nerfed, right?) was a worthy task for an aspiring alt. But sensibly talking about relevant MD topics? Noooooo.

Oh, you're rep grinding? n/m. Put me up for 5 bil pending an audit, of course. But remember that you're on a slippery slope that could result in you posting sensibly for years down the road. Be careful!

I'm sure you're right but some of those things are changing.

The Winter changes including new blueprints for the POCOs and the new battlecruisers will see a lot of people trying to make money. I imagine there's a fair amount of stockpiling going on.

This Winter should see a flare up in nullsec war, which of course drives the rest of the economy. That may also take the heat off POS owners if Goons become too busy to continue their ice interdiction.

Basically we need the economy to become more interesting and it's heading that way.

There's also the factor that most people who follow the market don't want to post our secrets that will always dampen places like this.
