cant unlock locked targets when grid is busy

happens to me a lot, in big fights I cant unlock targets by pressing ctrl + shift + click. Nothing happens, unless I start clicking man like a r*tard then it works for a certain degree. Looks like clicks are getting lost when grid is busy.
Any known workaround for that?
