well like a lot of people in this game i am just a poor miner and trying to scratch a living out of the rocks and yet there are ganking fleets out there trying to kill us and really people like goonswarm that prey on the miners and they have a voice but we as miners are forced to just sit back and take it and say can i have some more please.....but really i my self stay out of null sec and low sec and i mine in high sec so i pay a high price for the harder to get ores and things....but i chose to keep my prices low so i can sell but if i do get ganked i will be forced to raise my price and thus raise the price game wide and really i do not want that it slows my sales down and i lose money granted i would lose more if i got ganked but over time the sales loss adds up and i can not afford the loose and all i am asking is give a miner a voice some of us are not carebears but we do not like fight or deal with wars unless we are selling on the market to the people who fight that war we are sided with no one and we refuse to take sides in a war all we ask is a voice and to be left alone to our rocks and ice

The poor miner will get a voice when the poor miner discovers paragraphs.

Punctuation and capitalisation are also mandatory requirements for voice.

The gankers don't care if your costs are going up, they are in it for your tears. In the short term, you concentrate on not giving them those tears.

In the long term, you and your buddies vote in the elections for candidates who support your interests and who have a good shot at being elected. There are some, for example, who support reforms to the Insurance Industry. Twisted

Am I the only one that has noticed that all the people complaining about the current CSM members are the same people who preach about how they have never voted?

I have been working closely with the mining community in a stealthy way as not to ruin my ganking reputation.

I support a War on Ganking similar to the war on drugs; with a catchy slogan "Just say no to suicide ganking". Try hugs not ganks. Theres even a D.A.R.E. program.

A. assaying
R. refining
E. extracting

Look forward to more stunning content from the Darius III official CSM7 campaign website.

The miners will get a voice when they let themselves be podded repeatedly without upgrading their clone.

If you manage to find a single mining barge in Deklein, hats of to you, and tell me where it is, I want to blow it up.

If you're whining about ores coming from nullsec bots, then you're looking at drone regions. We don't waste time looting and salvaging stuff from regular rats, bounties are just fine. In Drone regions, what you loot are compounds. You are recquired to loot and reprocess those things and sell them in order to get something out of it. And that's where all the ore come from. Because a Drone Horde (Basically, it's a sanctum with rogue drones instead of regular pirates) takes around 30mn to complete with a decent PVE boat. 30mns, and you get something like 25M or 30M worth of minerals. Basically, 50M/H worth of minerals. Per bot. That's why mining is worthless now. Because 50M worth of minerals equals to about 25M Tritanium.

How many hulks does it requires to gather 25M tritanium in one hour ? I'm not an industrial guy, but my guess is => Way too many.

I think we have found the single character in EVE who got a "Miner" label stamped on its forehead at character creation, and is now forever banned from training any skill outside of the Industry category, and flying anything other than a barge. Therefore he is forced to sit back and take it. Unlike the other 300,000 characters who are able to actually go do something else when what they see that what they used to be doing is no longer profitable.

The tears of miners fuel my ship, besides looking at the Goon offers on hulks and other ORE ships in Gallente high sec makes me want to move a suicide alt up there.

Well my fellow miner I am afraid to say we will never have a vioce. Eve has been won and not by us. I have lost almost everything this past month in game, maybe I need to L2P but I dont really care. Actually I like to thank these guys. I have found something new for me. Perpetuum it is called, look it up. It has many the same features as eve but some really interesting anti greifing mechanics as well. Flagged pvp in there high sec areas (dont want to be ganked turn it off and you cannot be attacked) but also the open pvp eve offers in the low sec areas. You can mine in piece with out the risk of lossing your shirt. This is a sandbox you can play as you like as long as its pvp.

Anyway this will be my last toon created and I am off to have some FUN elsewhere. Eve is a greifers paradise let them have it. There is nothing left for me. I will be watching to see the subs hit an all time high when EVE: Goonswarm edition drops.

Good luck and try and have some fun, thats what games are all about. o/

Actually no. Where are 'all these people' complaining about the CSM while saying they don't vote? Certainly none in the thread you posted that in lol. Stretching too far to make some point kind of negates it utterly.

EVE: Goonswarm Edition & "Sandbox as long as it's PvP only" --> classic :)

It's not really too hard to keep from getting ganked in Hisec though, so yeah, OP, HTFU a bit ...

On a serious note ... I do seem to hear the "Hardcore PvP Advocates" often claiming EVE is strictly a PvP game, meant only for PvP, and the only REAL EVE is PvP EVE, so everyone else should just HTFU or go home ....

Real question though ... could EVE (or any game for that matter) really survive as a strictly 100% PvP game (including real isk losses upon death/ship loss of course)? This would mean basically, new player undocks and can immediately be shot everwhere (and no Concord) ...

Or would the game simply stagnate and implode due to older players preying upon the new? Or from not appealing to a wide enough player base ...

After a new player undocks they can immediately be shot anywhere.

Though I believe griefing in the starter systems is frowned upon.
