Faction Warfare Pilots,

Registration has begun for the first of EVE Fight Club’s tournaments; The Intra-FW Cruiser Brawl! We will be bringing together all four factions for some friendly 1vs1 cruiser competition through the month of June.

1st Place: 500 million ISK
2nd Place: Navy Faction Battlecruiser of your choosing
3rd Place: Navy Faction Cruiser of your choosing

There will also be a random drawing after every round of matches for the following prizes:

4x Navy Faction Frigates (1 of each race) - DICE will be used to make drawings for the random giveaways.

How to Sign-Up:

Since this is part of EVE Fight Club’s first round of tournaments, there will be no sign up fee! Send an in-game mail with your intention to sign up for the FW Cruiser Brawl to EVE Ordino from the character with which you wish to participate. Characters must be at least one month old and currently involved in faction warfare. You will receive a tournament ID number (for matchmaking selection and the drawings) based on the order in which you signed up. Registration end on 6/10/13.

Tournament Set-up:

This tournament will be a 1vs1 Cruiser (tech 1, non-navy/pirate faction) competition, faction/deadspace modules are not allowed. Get out your EFT/Pyfa and start building!

Depending on the number of participants, the tournament will either be on a single or double elimination bracket (blind draw). The brackets will be posted on http://challonge.com/, with links to the brackets from both here and the EVE Fight Club Website.

The tournament matches will be carried out through the in-game dueling system. After you are placed in the bracket, match orders will be issued to you and your opponent. It is up to both of you to get in touch with each other in order to arrange a time and location for the duel. You will have one week after receiving a match order to submit a kill log. (The semi-finals and finals will be administered by an EVE Fight Club rep)

**It is your own responsibility to make sure your opponent is not cheating; bring a friend/alt with a ship scanner/cargo scanner if you are concerned. Fleet up with your opponent ahead of time to make sure that there is nobody else in fleet that could be providing link boosts. If your opponent is cheating, have your friend/alt take a screenshot of his ship scan results along with his overview showing both you and your opponent on field.**

When you and your opponent have arranged a match, fleet up and meet at an agreed upon system. If you choose to use a scanning alt/friend, invite that character to fleet as well and have your opponent meet up with your scanning character before initiating a duel. Once both parties are satisfied, initiate a duel, warp in on an agreed location, and begin the fight.

When the fight is complete, submit your kill log through in-game mail to EVE Ordino with your tournament ID number. You must be the ONLY involved party in the kill log or the fight will be forfeit. The bracket will be updated and your fight results will be linked through the bracket.

After each round of matches is complete, a drawing will take place for the door prizes and a new set of match orders will be sent out. This process will repeat until the semi-finals where you will be contacted by an EVE Fight Club rep who will arrange the remaining matches.

After the final matches, wining prizes will be distributed and the results will be posted. Good luck!

You are encouraged to take video/screenshots! When the tournament is finalized a summary will be published including player submitted media.

DICE:

Matchmaking DICE page 1: http://eve-files.com/tools/dice/view/EFC-FW_Cruiser_Brawl_6-13_Matchmaking1 (to be unlocked when sign-ups end)

Matchmaking DICE page 2: http://eve-files.com/tools/dice/view/EFC-FW_Cruiser_Brawl_6-13_Matchmaking2 (to be unlocked when sign-ups end)

The roll numbers represent the bracket positions and the actual roll values will represent your tournament ID. The results of this DICE will determine your positioning in the bracket. Tournament ID numbers are given out in the order which participants sign up.

If there are less than 100 competitors and a bracket position rolls a Tournament ID that is unassigned, the next tournament ID that is assigned will shift to take that bracket position and so on. If there are more than 100 competitors the second page of matchmaking DICE will be used where the #1 position designates the 101st competitor and so on.

Random Prize Drawing DICE Round 1: DICE created when sign-ups end, unlocked after first round
Random Prize Drawing DICE Round 2: DICE created when sign-ups end, unlocked after second round
Random Prize Drawing DICE Round 3: DICE created when sign-ups end, unlocked after third round

Roll #1: Imperial Navy Slicer
Roll #2: Federation Navy Comet
Roll #3: Republic Fleet Firetail
Roll #4: Caldari Navy Hookbill

Winning numbers will correspond with your tournament ID number. Tournament ID numbers are given out in the order which participants sign up.

If more than three rounds are required, additional DICE will be created.
