stuck on loading screen

I had all the "normal" problems with this launcher and did everything in the "help" post. my launcher is loading to the character select screen with no problems. The problems start when I try to load my main. I get locked up on the blank splash screen and am forced to ctrl-alt-delete and end task for the Eve .exe. Barring this my computer is completely frozen, and if I try to click on anything other than the task manager I remain frozen.

still sticking on "entering game as "krytan""

I'm about to finish training and now I'm looking at an indeterminate time of sitting around waiting for a reply or fix.... If anyone has had this problem and found a workaround I would appreciate some help.
