Smuggler skill: 15% chance per level of avoiding detection by Concord.

Ship Equipment: Hull & Armor> Hull Upgrades> Secret CargoHold 1

+50% chance to avoid Concord detection
200 cu m capacity, max velocity mod -5%, structure HP -5%
Requires Smuggler skill 1

Secret Cargohold II
+75% chance to avoid Concord detection
400 cu m capacity, max velocity mod -5%, structure HP -10%
Requires Smuggler skill 4

Normal chance to detect hidden cargo by Concord = 100% x Sec status
Random spawn- Concord Customs Checkpoint- +50% chance of detecting hidden cargo

If caught asked to drop cargo and take minor sec status hit (0.01). If choose to flee then marked as suspect. If caught as suspect then marked as criminal.

Players do not stop you because they find you carrying illegal goods, Customs does. This would be a way to transport items illegal in an area past customs.

Pretty sure there are ways to prevent player scans from seeing all your cargo.

The obvious problem here is that CONCORD does not give a ****. This is fairly evident in the fact that the factional police do the customs scanning, contraband enforcing, and pretty much else relating to illegal items.

The Caldari put business before pleasure. The Gallente put business in pleasure.

Double wrap it and they can't see anything but the shrink wrap. This is also a pretty good way to earn yourself a gank in some parts of space.
