Sentiment appreciated for what it is... mere sentiments... but don't they have better things to vote on?

As for the rest of you, I think you're taking this a bit too seriously. Their Senate isn't making any demands, nor are they interfering. They're just voting a bit pointlessly to say they don't like that Yanala was given the tea.

It's not really their business, but this is the interstellar equivalent of your neighbor apologizing for the death of a relative. Instead of throwing a fit right there for the sentiment because you don't like it, consider just grunting and nodding your head. I think it's safe to ignore such things from Federal bureaucracy.

I think you're all missing the point. This is just a routine motion to clarify the Federation's position. I don't think that any Senator actually believes the CEP will answer to them.

I really was wrong about her. I mean, I don't know what I would have done differently if it had all happened all over again, but, something. I don't know.

I just hope that history doesn't show me a monster.

We may have been wrong about her intent to fire the Doomsday, but one act of defiance and doing the right thing doesn't justify other questionable actions taken that day.

Regardless, the Senate encouraging the Caldari to bring down Heth? What's next in the news today, water found to be wet?

This is as pathetic as when Heth tried pandering to the Republic after Midular passed away, opportunistic shitehawks.

Speaking of which:

Other instances of this behavior would suggest otherwise.

Anyway, the Federation Senate can **** off. To be called a "hero" by the Federation is an insult to a Caldari.

I have often admired your stance. In this case I do not.

Vikarion, you are an AWESOME State citizen. Never stop being an upstanding role-model for the younger generations to aspire to.

After all you already speak on their behalf.

I wish the Senate would shut up for once. This is a Caldari matter for Caldari law. Petitions from us have zero place in this situation.

The Gallente Federation's citizens living on Caldari Prime would beg to differ with you, I'm sure. Use of the titan's doomsday weapon would have been catastrophic, doubtlessly killing both Gallente and Caldari on the planet. I join my Senators in expressing my gratitude for her bravery.

Heth obviously cares little for those living on the Caldari homeworld. It is clear from this report that he simply wanted the planet as a trophy for the State whether or not the conflict left the planet nothing but a scorched, dead rock.

Praising her is one thing, telling the CPD how to go about their business, or well "suggesting" is beyond what is acceptable practice for the Senate.

Makes them as bad as Heth with his rampant opportunism.

They have to vote because the Senate can't say something unless the Senate actually agrees on it. Plus I don't think it wouldn't take long for a vote like this, especially with the way the vote turned out.

What? No dozen dreadnaughts jumping into Caldari space to demand Heth be turned over to the Federation for trial under their own laws?

Oh wait, I forgot... the Federation is actually civilized.

How about you DON'T cynically exploit a completely different scenario that is none of your business in order to take a cheap political shot at the people you don't like?

You'll need to demonstrate even that tiny modicum of restraint before you've earned the right to lecture anybody on being civilized without looking like a hypocrite.

Katran Luftschreck evidently suffers from the same monomaniacal obsession with twisting every thread to her own political soapboxing as another notoriously uncouth woman.

Yes, I realise this statement is ironic.

Pieter Tuulinen > He'd be Civirely disadvantaged, Andreus.

Just ignore him.

Even other Caldari do at this point.

Usually, that is what nation-states do, yes. However the last sentence of their message clearly asks for the CPD to do something.

Usually, they do not need to add superfluous pieces like that if that is not needed. Every bit of a message has a meaning and does not come into said message by literary hazard.

I've missed this little anomaly here.

Who the heck are you, and where is Luftschreck? What did you do to her?
