Mining Director issues

Searched google and wiki and found nothing on the matter. I have mining director 4 and leadership 2. as i understand it i should be able to boost 4 people counting myself. yet i can only boost 2. is there something i am missing??

Mining Director skill has nothing to do with the number of people in the fleet.

Leadership = 2 people per level, up to 10 in one squad (including yourself).

With Leadership 2:
* Option `A': Squad Commander (default squad booster) + 3 Squad Members
* Option `B': Squad Commander (squad booster revoked) + 2 Squad Members + 1 squad member set to squad booster.

Right-click on person's name in fleet window to revoke or grant booster. Default is command positions are boosters.

Command positions must have command skill for the people below them. Boosters only need command skill when in a command position.
