As a Paladin pilot, I love the new changes! I can't wait for the final Paladin model to be finished, hopefully by the winter expansion or sooner.

The impression I got was that the Paladin model was supposed to be finished for Odyssey, or at least for a point release.
I could be wrong though. We're still about a week and three days away from the planned release date, chances are if they intend to finish it for Odyssey the model is already complete, just hasn't yet been pushed to Singularity.

because I wanted confirmation that it's not the shaders that make the colors look bad but but devs. It's the devs that are washing out the colors and not the shaders. the pali actually looks good to me, the colors are nice and vibrant; not dull and washed out looking so we will see how the final colors turn out

For fun, I asked the wife what the colors were on the new pali and she stated khaki and brown

EoM ships/colors are basically Khanid ships/colors, right?

So. I'd settle for a Khanid BS or two!

But FRIG. Those EOM ships make me want to fly Amarr. So gorgeous. :x

We need more BS varieties!

I think they'd be a pretty good candidate for a gal/amarr pirate faction.

Never looked deeper into them or the tank type they use, so I could be wrong, but them being an amarr/gal faction pirate ship, it wouldn't make sense to be shield tanked. Since Amarr & Gallente are known armor tankers.

Maybe as NPCs they can shield, but if they ever became a player available pirate ship, it would certainly have to be tweaked into armor.

The original hull was well proportioned and elegant, qualities rare in amarr hulls (considering the revelation, abaddon, prophecy...)

What apparently has people exited are the new textures and shaders, things which have nothing to do with the actual new model, which has all the appeal of a toaster.

It has just grown fatter and now sports some kind of angry bird dolphin frown.

Yeah. Amaaazing.

I've yet to want to fly a ship based solely on looks.

This opinion has changed with the EOM Apoc. Should that variant be released for flying, I will be getting into it with great haste.

EOM apoc should be Caldari Amarr, Gallente/minnie get 2 pirate faction ships( Mach and, seems like a fair balence.

make it an armor tanking railboat or something

I'm finally training Amarr BS 5 just so I can fly the updated Paladin.

The revamped Apoc hull is now the Sexiest Ship in New Eden and I won't hear otherwise.
