I know that you are hesitant to roll back something that you and the CSM decided was time to change so can I offer a way that should make everyone happy or at least feeling like they didn't get blindsided by this???

The biggest problem with the current mechanic is that it doesn't differ between the strength of the site vs the fact that you need more than one person to get all the cans. Also by scaling back NPCs you make it even more boring for the second person who is just sitting waiting for the other person to hack the site.

This isn't EvE like and doesn't follow the other sites especially anoms/plexes.
As I said in the giant thread, make the exploration sites more complex like.
Many here can already tell you which hacking sites are rated the hardest by a quick google search on the many mission walk-thoroughs around .

Instead of implementing this across all sites scale it in gradually. For those Radar/Mag that are knowingly hard to complete around a 8/10-10/10 in difficulty compared to a plex yes it make require more people. Also double if not make the NPCs much stronger by either adding in sleeper AI or just adding some BS or at least numerous BCs. Make it so that you know for a fact that you shouldn't even try to run these without a friend or two.

For everything else that is less challenging especially in high sec only do one loot can but drastically scale down the reward of course.

This makes it much more EvE like in that you know you can solo some if you want but it will be impractical to try others alone.
You know you can run a low difficulty site solo for much less risk and scoop up all cans BUT the reward is drastically less
You know you can run a med site solo and have a good chance to get all the cans if you have the proper ship.
You know you CAN'T run a High diff site solo either because you will be blow to pieces as soon as you land or because it will be impossible to grab all the cans. This of course is where the high drops will be.

What this allows is for new people in high sec as well as soloers in low sec a way to still enjoy the sites while at the same time protecting the higher loot in high degree of difficulty sites to fleets only.

I had to stop reading right there. The new csm is all about destruction and scams. See that malcanis guy who has the regular politician profile: vote me now, I fuk you later.

Meeting in the middle would be keeping the minigame but removing the pinata. Doubt that will happen either.

I'm just ticking off the hacking part of explorations from things to do, sitting in space clicking randomly in some minigame ain't that fun. Neither are can chasing. And making exploration into a group activity, to gett the most out of something that's chance based is just wrong.
