CEP is crossing the line of dignity for questioning Admiral Erinen with such means,... and on this subject.
I hope Executor Heth will intervene to stop such humiliation of the Navy.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

In memory of Tibus Heth, Caldari State Executor YC110-115, Hero and Patriot.

Getting desperate, are we?

Uncouple your ropes from Heth's ship - his days were numbered the moment men like me and Pieter fired on his forces in defense of the State.

Some observations:
- The CEP has not commented on the navy report concerning Yanala's conduct.
- They no longer refer to the incident as a 'cloning accident' but as a 'failed cloning'.
- Some of the matters Erinen will be questioned about have nothing to do with cloning accidents.

I think that the CEP suspect what some of us are thinking: that it might not be a cloning accident. I also get the feeling that the CEP doesn't entirely trust the navy.

Mr. Biko;

A little variation on word useage is not likely to be important, given statements from a variety of sources.

That said, the investigation is into the whole of the Caldari Prime incident, at all levels of command. This was stated at the beginning. While I've certainly said before that this may be the beginning of a move against Heth, considering his evident involvement in command decisions and desire to cast blame on Yanala, it would behoove us to not engage in too much conspiracy-mongering.

Personally, my expectation is that this investigation will indicate that the exposed position of the Caldari fleet -- and thus the death of thousands of citizens and the loss of untold billions worth of naval materiel -- can be attributed to a lack of strategic acumen by Heth, and so a concerted effort by the CEP and Caldari Navy to circumscribe his authority.

And the public is willing to trust the veracity of this monitoring 'equipment' ?

The public's opinion of the monitoring equipment is almost completely irrelevant; what matters is the CEP's opinion of it.

The highest commander of the Navy does not get hauled in front of the highest authority of the corporate system on a whim. This is the public tip of a sizeable iceberg of investigation, one which will somewhat constrain the story the Admiral is able to tell in the unlikely event that she does have an interest in (and ability to) bend the truth.

I am curious to hear what she has to say.

The article begins with "The Chief Executive Panel has revealed that it will call Caldari Navy Executive Officer Mininela Erinen to testify before them on the matter of Admiral Visera Yanala's failed cloning."
I don't recall Heth trying to blame Yanala, his latest words about her: “I can only presume that, as she concentrated to take her final acts, she forsook her own safety and hesitated so her capsule was caught. What happened next is still uncertain, but it only serves to make her sacrifice even greater.

I would hardly call my observations "conspiracy mongering". Your comments reek far more of that than mine. I merely observed that the CEP doubts the information it was fed thus far, in my eyes a reasonable deduction, considering Erinen "[..] will testify under oath, utilizing advanced stress gauges, facial analysis, and military linguistic algorithms to appraise the factuality of her statements."
You said this could be part of a move against Heth, that is more like conspiracy mongering, in my opinion.

If I recall, Admiral Yanala was commanding front-line combat ships before Executor Heth was even born. What ever happened to "meritocracy?"

Desperate about WHAT, pilot?

Do not try to extend your traitorous intentions over me.
It is my duty to protect the State, its people, its Executor and his forces from ones like you.

Now what does it have to do about meritocracy?
Admiral Yanala was good and merited pilot (lets hide the information about shutting down main ship weapon and consider she regained her honor with her blood).
And Executor Heth has restored practical meritocracy in the State when became the leader of our people.
And, generally, I absolutely don't see reason of your comment, because I was talking not about Executor Heth, not about Admiral Yanala, but about Admiral Erinen and CEP.

I have mentioned Executor Heth, only because it's him, who can actually stop this farce and restore dignity of the Navy, like he did it to the whole State, when booted gallentean scum out of Caldari Prime.
