New EVE Launcher: This is how you get your settings back.

Restarting the launcher doesnt work way more often than it does so here's how you get your settings back.

Go to "run" in your computer

type in:

%localappdata%\CCP\EVE\

This should bring you to the local app data, the new launcher created a new eve folder named blahblah blah ~1 or ~2 theres a ~ sign after the new one. Find the tranquility folder with your old settings (mine was 500 mb, had 3 folders in it). Copy the contents over to the new folder that is ~1 or ~2 or what have you.

Then just start eve normally.

PS: CCP, loading multiple clients with the new launcher is horrendously painful.

I don't understand what the issue is with starting multiple clients with the new launcher is? I've just started 6 of them... no problems. I know the initial verification of the directories is a pain in the back side...but,... afterwards, I haven't had an issue since. Instant verification every time.

even ignoring the fact that the launcher is laggy as all hell, about half the time it doesnt load the unsername/PW fields when i click change account.
