Still having Problems, instructions for less computer skilled.:)

Did a fresh install, game failed to launch.

Did the following and i am now ingame.



Go to the folder containing Eve. If you don't know how to find it do this:

Go to the windows search box, type Eve. Right above that box a list of items should appear.



PROGRAMS

Play eve <---right click this and choose Open File Location

OR

FILES

(folder icon) Eve <---Left click this

The new window that opens is your Eve folder.



The 8th item down should be: Common

Double click or open COMMON

Change: Build=534348 To Build=538542

Save and exit or Hit the X in the corner and click Save in the box that appears.


In the same window you found common, at the top is a folder named bin.

Double click or open the folder: bin

Scroll down until you see:

EveLocalization.dll
ExeFile <---------------------Double Click or Open
Extensions.dll

Log in and Play Bear
Mr. Orange
Band of Freelancers

I love people who panic and reinstall software / operating systems at the first sign of trouble.

Wasn't panic and reinstall. The earlier patch "fix" caused different errors.

Spend time unfixing "fixes" or use 40mb/sec connection to get a fresh install.

Fresh installs and Hard resets fix 99% of errors.
